(Here’s a content warning for you guys: this game goes past the ‘disturbing themes’ the dev warns for on its steam page)
This 20-minute horror VN that proclaims to take one “into the murky depths of your own soul” ends with the male player character raping a strange monster spirit girl, who turns out to be a kind of weird marionette doll thing. You read the rape, from his perspective, with zero preamble or lead up to it, it just happens out of nowhere.
This game isn’t an exploration into anything - it’s a guy fucking around in a weird abandoned house, an Edga Allen Poe namedrop, he meets said monster spirit girl, has a dream about a maze, and then rapes her, and then the game ends. That’s it. That’s it. There’s nothing worthwhile explored, nothing that justifies this grave a matter used in so crass a way.
There’s not much else I can say about this game that is both coherent and uninfluenced by the very heightened panic-dread-fear state this game helpfully gave me, so I’m locking this fucking game away in my ‘never have to look at it again’ drawer.
Oh, no, there is: that has got to be the stupidest, most bullshittiest font I’ve fucking seen in a VN, the bow on this molten shit package.

Well, the game’s name probably isn’t ‘Sorry’ for no reason… But jokes aside, sorry to hear about your experience. The world’s a strange place sometimes.

Oh no! I hate it when that happens! Don’t tell me now, but when I do the Stories Untold review, tell me why it didn’t click with you so much! I know what it’s like to be on the other side of something that’s a big hit and going ‘… it’s not that good, u guys’.
Wow, that’s so gross, I don’t like the developer and that’s why I’ve avoided it, but this is on whole new level.
