Sooo after talking with a colleague at work about games, I was inspired to play something that night. Hence, I impulse bought Grow: Song of the Evertree as it was on sale. It was not a bad decision!
I realised it's by the same devs as Yonder: The Cloud Catcher Chronicles which I also enjoyed.

It's kind of chore-like in growing 'worlds' and harvesting stuff, but also has a bit of building/village management along with it. So very relaxing to play. All while being absolutely stunning, and has a photo mode! It looks fantastic on ultrawide.
Only issue I've seen so far is the auto photo mode with critters/pet companion seem to be geared for a different resolution, so it cuts off the top and bottom. So no cute selfies with Kasumi.

I did find this game a lot more repetitive however. By the time I got to the Forest district (there were several more after this point..) I was already starting to lose interest in repeating everything.
I feel like it would be better if the game kind of aimed at letting you work on one district with goals to hit each time, instead of just repeating the same stuff over and over again.

I did enjoy gifting villagers stupid hats, so if that's your thing, WELL. This is the game for you.

I do recommend the game if you want a more mindless style chore game, with the ability to make towns pretty :P Also, for the photo mode!
