An adventure game with walking sim vibes. Nice, interesting visuals, a bit of dream-like madness, story a bit predictable, riddles - classic adventure “find a code” and “use this on that”. All in all I don’t regret playing it, but I barely remember any details.

A puzzle game in postapocalyptic setting. You can control animals, there are three types of creatures, each with it’s own set of skills, you need to traverse through levels and avoid robotic guards, by using those animals. Not to hard, not to easy, it was a good fun, for short runs. The story has some very interesting elements, but also a few plot holes.

Very, very nice Pokemon Snap clone. You are taking pictures of different creatures, and you need to catch every activity they are doing, some of them may request some light puzzle solving. You are gaining points for each picture, and points unlock new areas you can go on photo safari. Plus there is a hub world in which you can talk with each creature you caught, and everyone of them has miniquest for you, with a little reward, usually cosmetic. The game is super cute and super relxing and it definietely should got more recognition. I had a great time in it.

A stealth game with a twist. You have two characters here - a skilled assassin and a little girl. You are controlling an assassin, and you need to help the girl to cross the levels, either by killing guards, or by distracting them. The kid is AI controlled and she is going from hideout to hideout when she is sure, noone is looking at her. Her AI is a little wonky, and sometimes she will go straight into a guard, but FORTUNATELY the guards cannot really see her, so you won’t loose a game if this happened. I must say this kind of changed perspective was refreshing and I had too much fun distracting guards and finished the game without any kill. There are some other problems with a game, mainly stupid story and level design in which I wasn’t sure from time to time, where I should go, but beside that the game was really fun.

I got it for free on Epic Store, wanted to play an hour or two to check, what it is, and ended up finishing it. This game is basically a mix of FTL style roguelike and a looter shooter. You are flying from space shipwreck to space shipwreck, going inside each of them, and scavenging for resources and avoiding/killing mutant enemies. Then you are using those resources to make upgrades, new guns, so you can go to bigger shipwrecks and finally find some stuff you need to fix the main ship. The gameplay is very addictive and I had very strong “just one more run” syndrome, espacially because you are not loosing stuff you scavenged between deaths, so even bad runs are not worthless. All in all it was very engaging game, I wish it could be just a bit longer, cause I managed to finished it with about 2/3 of upgrades.

A classic adventure game set in scandinavian folklore. I think we have a bit too much of vikings mythology in pop culture lately, so I was very glad that instead of Loki and Thor we have here little house gnomes named Tomte, who will do house chores if you leave food for them, and a giant cat, who will eat kids, who didn’t get any new clothes for Christmas (dear Iceland - I love you and your completely weird Christmas stories). The gameplay is 100% classic adventure game - help a troll so she will give you something, that a giant frog need… etc, etc. And in the end find your little brother, who was kidnap by this world’s version of Elsa… I mean Snow Queen. A plot has a some points that are a bit overdramatic, but all in all it was a very good game in interesting setting.

Congratulations on all of your assassinations! Which game was your favorite this month? I liked your review for Alekon, looks interesting.
