Kill Two: November 4th, 2020
I wanted to take a break from reading… and I accidentally got myself into more reading. An hour of it, specifically. The game is exactly what it presents itself as: you're a frog detective, tasked with solving the mystery of the haunted island. It's a simple talking-and-bartering experience that leads you to the bottom of it all. I wouldn't mind playing the sequel, but I'm not in a hurry to buy it, either.
Next up: Let’s see if I can run this thing!

Yeah, I totally threw myself in deep water with that one! I’ve barely any idea what I’m doing… I’ll probably post about it before I’m done with the grind, if I ever manage to finish the story mode.
I’ve decided to play Hyperdimension Neptunia with you, though I don’t know how much will get done since I’m in the process of moving this month. WE GOT THIS.

I’m on chapter three, the first chapter was agony but the pace and exp rate really picks up. How is it going for ya?
I’m on chapter eight, soon to end the game. I’ve been playing it earnestly for the most part, but seeing as I unlocked the Colosseum in chapter seven, I just gave up and grinded some levels to make it easier on myself. The “reached level 99” achievements shouldn’t be too much trouble, but I think I’m still gonna have to grind materials for items and credits for the Millionaire achievement… sigh
The new game plus looks promising, I’m lvl 50 at ch 4, those skill cancelling bots and no items allowed destroyed me when I tried at lvl 33. I looked at a guide and at that one factory at the bottom left of the map, with hard enemies on, is an easy kill 25k exp robot thing and child whales for 5k. I’ve been killing them for hours.
I believe the Colosseum battles are still more efficient, especially the Polytan ones - just makes sure to have at least one goddess on your team and equip her with a Terra processor unit - they won’t be able to deal any damage to her and one fight yields… about 190k EXP? Don’t quote me on that.
Figured out how they were still kicking my butt at lvl 50. I never set up combos, had to look up a youtube guide. I was still using the basic attacks. Bruh.
Saaame. There’s finishers, too, and I still haven’t set them up for all the characters - it’s just way too much clicking around. rolls eyes
On the bright side, the second game has a DLC, Histy’s Rescue Plan, has an exp boost that breaks leveling so I won’t need to grind as much. I’m gonna do the second game, Sisters Generation, next month I think. Wanna join me?
Well, speaking of breaking, this game has broken me, so… no, I don’t think so. :/
