Macrotis: A Mother’s Journey is done and dusted. It was a pleasant platformer/puzzler. Stunning graphics, mostly good audio, pretty solid gameplay and a few cool added gameplay mechanics to make the game more interesting. Took me a bit more than 5 hours to play through and I’d say it was good overall. Not too complex….more of a casual experience, albeit with a bit of a darker story despite also carrying a whimsical tone here and there.

I also played through a seven pack of mini games that came through my curation. Of the seven, I only actually finished Tricky Cat, but all of them were at least decent if not good.

I also advanced the story in Edge of Eternity a bit more. I’m kind of at the point where the glitches (audio especially) are becoming a bit more problematic, so I may shelve it pending it seeing full release. The game is excellent, but it also needs work.

Beyond that, I think I’ll focus on Lamplight City and Final Fantasy XV now, although I did also start Dark Souls Remastered today. But, that is more of a here and there game for me right now I think.

Just a heads-up: If you start having FPS problems when you reach the Undead Burg in DS like I did, go offline mode. It was the only fix. I have no idea why it happens, but apparently it’s a very common problem after the last patch.

I appreciate the heads up.
