Haven’t heard of Time Recoil before, any fun? Unique from other games of that type?
Yes it’s really fun game, quite much like Mr. Shifty & Hotline Miami. It’s short, but really fun to play. Time Recoil has different kinds of skill boosts based on how many enemies you kill one after the another from basic dash to freezing a time. Also The Mr. President is featured! o7 Killing enemies also triggers bullet time for better concentration, funny thing is that bullets vanish when you kill enemies, but that will change in harder difficulty. Surely worthwhile to play even if game is just 2-3 hours, time attack & harder difficulty can add to it quite a few hours. o.-
Crash Bandicoot is just fantastic. I remember playing it on my cousin ps1 but haven’t had the chance to play the remastered version (although it looks hella good).
What did you think of The Awesome Adventures of Captain Spirit, Last Day of June and The Amazing Spider-Man? And did you get this last one when it was on sale or after it got removed (and if so, where? I’ve been looking to get it too but I didn’t searched for it and asking is easier than searching for myself (i’m lazy)). :D
Crash is indeed great and i did only have 3rd game as kid along with CTR and Crash Bash. Remastered version is really swell to play and indeed looks good too, can recommend it highly! :)
The Awesome Adventures of Captain Spirit is quite interesting free game for 2h? If you go doing and inspecting stuff all around and first felt like world through kid wouldn’t be that interesting, but it was implemented well enough and apparently boy will be featured in Life is Strange 2. It’s worth while to check out.
Last Day of June was one of those games i had no expectations about and it surprised me with it’s theme. You view world through different characters and their daily lives and how they will affect story with their actions. Performance was bit weird with this game and art was quite different from original styles. Good indie nonetheless.
The Amazing Spider-Man was better than i expected, combat seemed in gameplay video like in Batman Arkham games so decided to buy it from market, you can find info about it in that topic and help you decide if you will go for it (recommend using PayPal etc instead of card and the like so your info won’t go to the sites). Was surely worth a shot for 2€ for me, keys are RU, but didn’t have any troubles with it in EU region. Seemed like those keys come from Russian sites. Usually considered Spider-Man games being mediocre, but this was quite fun to play and did do all quests while being repetitive and enjoy it for the most part. For some reason it’s performance was quite horribly bad at moments and did crash every once in a while on top of that. But swinging through city and being helpful neighbourhood spidy was quite pleasant otherwise.
Thank you for the in depth answer! Now I’m looking even more forward to getting my hands on that Crash Bandicoot :D
I shall look into the Spider-Man games (that whole topic and do a little of research) and maybe I’ll take a chance too :)
