I assume some of these games had progress before August but just happened to be beaten/completed in August. Either way, tremendous work!
Some games on this list I’ve played: 39 Steps (enjoyed it!), The Stanley Parable (loved it).
Other games in my or my alt’s backlog: Carto (new entry), Silver Chains, Cat Quest, We Were Here (free).
And game on my alt’s wishlist: The Sojourn.
thank you! you’re right, a few of them were just progressed further. like ‘kill it with fire’ recently added an extra level and a few achievements so i hopped back on to clean them up, and ‘the stanley parable’ was also just cleaning up a final achievement. all i did on ‘hades’ was get a little more progress towards the final achievement i need to unlock.. which is still gonna take some time until i finally get it.
from the games on your backlog, i’d probably recommend ‘cat quest’ first. both games were really entertaining and their steam ratings speak to that as well. hard to say what really makes them so good because they are pretty simple games, kind of a short rpg really. the first game only took that long because i had to do (i think) 3 playthroughs because of certain achievements, though the sequel doesn’t require that and can be completed in one playthrough.
Thanks for the reply! I’m actually considering trying We Were Here with my kids (almost 10) this weekend. Anything I can do to get them off Roblox…we’ll see.
‘we were here’ was pretty fun. i only got to play it because i talked (or bugged) my buddy into playing with me.. it being free also helped. we both ended up enjoying it. i also have ‘we were here together’. i almost talked him into buying it, but was unsuccessful. maybe i’ll give it another shot.
