Monthly Update #30: October 2021
I've had fun in New World, but now there are so many issues I might just take a break and see whether AGS actually fixes them. Friends also were impatient and transferred to my server when I said wait... server is now dead so that makes it harder..
Not much else gaming wise this month except giving away a couple of older HB keys I have. Still have a lot to go through to see if I should activate/try to trade or just giveaway.
In other news, lockdown has ended, and my sofa I ordered in March finally arrived!

I find that area of the game one of the most pretty ingame.
That’s a lot of hours put in New World! And only 38 achievements? I sense another time sink haha. & Congrats on not adding new games to your backlog.

It’s an mmo.. People already have 400-500 hours logged and would be nowhere near haha.
It will be years to 100%. YEARS.
They have achievements to get 300 standing in each territory for example - The territory I’ve been in most my game time is at 40 standing.. There are at least 10+….

Congrats on playing New World! I’m mostly tempted to play it because of the housing available but unless I know it’s gonna be good i’m usually to shy to buy a game when it comes out.
Haha yeah I don’t tend to buy games on release. My exception tends to be MMO’s, as I know I will get my moneys worth for the hours I do log in the game, even if I quit a month in!
The housing is pretty good, only problem is that you need to pay a tax each week to afford it, which sucks if the company that owns your town raises the taxes a lot.. :(
If you are looking for games with good housing/building/decoration, I recommend Tower Unite, Valheim, Staxel and Portal Knights of some of the games I’ve played!
