I also purchased the Handsome Jack Collection for under 3€ to finally complete my Borderlands 2 collection. And activated 911 Operator - Special Resources a DLC to a game I previously quite enjoyed. Need to pick it up again.

So that makes 6 new games since the last new games update and I’ve already beaten/completed/abandoned 7 games this month, so that leaves me right now at -1 and the month is only halfway through happy dance

Brought that borderlands collections ages ago when it went down to 95% and yet I haven’t touched them. I found a code that made my siren look like an elf I wasn’t touching the rubbish cosmetics it had but hey I can say I completed it even if I didn’t like any of them
Curious to see your Snake Pass update if you share it with us here someday! Had my eye on since years ago, but I’ve read some reviews on it, but meh, seems like one of the frustrating things are the controls (with mouse + keyboard especially). And you’ve played 911 Operator already? Do you recommend it?
I watch COPS and Live P.D. from time to time, so seeing games like this have my interest. Some reviews mention it being repetitive even early on in the game though. Did you experience that with it?
Well I have to play it in the next 2-3 weeks since it’s a PA win. So you will probably hear all about it in the next update. But I will most likely try it with controller first.
And yes I have quite extensivly played 911 Operator. Long before it was in the Humble monthly. I have about 16 hours of playtime in it and I find it quite enjoyable. A lot of those “emergency games” tend to focus on fighting the fires (as firefighter) or arresting people (as police officers) directly etc. Here you have everything from the emergency operators perspective, from the initial call, where you have to decide if it is an emergency or not, by asking the caller questions, to dispatching the appropriate units to take care of the problem. And you have to multitask quite a bit. You have to decide which calls to ignore or which have some time before they become dangerous and where to send your units first. You also have to ask the right questions, otherwise your units might run into trouble themselves, e.g. if you send unarmed units into a situation with an armed perpetrator.
When I was playing the variety of calls was quite extensive and they’ve been adding new scenarios/calls steadily. And a lot of them are from real life scenarios.
Well sure after a while you will have heard all the calls there are. And I can understand if people say that the game gets repetitive then, but in my experience the calls do not appear in the same order every time. Yes you have some type of calls that come in quite regularly, but that’s the same in RL. You don’t have armed robberies, bomb threats etc. every few minutes, but you get car crashes, speeding and domestic calls quite often and the trick here is to stay alert through those calls for a bigger one. Just like in RL. And I think that is what I find quite charming about the game. It is not so much about being that dashing hero that saves the day (if you are looking for something like this there are the Emergency 1-4 games) . But the worker behind the scene that makes the heroism possible.
Sorry for the late reply (just got home from the hospital), but thanks for the long response back to me ~ That’s interesting what you explained more about 911 Operator. Definitely not the things I expected from it, and makes me actually want to try it more now.

Yeah I was surprised how many there are O_o
But for that cheap a price, there was no question if I would buy it or not.
