Phew! I finally got to the end of Xenoblade Chronicles, 15 months after starting it.
Mindblowing! I just love everything about this game. The story, the characters, the vast zones to explore, the combat, they just all felt spot-on and it has been a phenomenal journey. I'm looking forward to playing XC2 and the Definitive Edition of this game.
A great text-based adventure with fantastic characters and meaningful decisions but the endgame choices are too restrictive. The writing is great and the player's decisions carry a lot of weight but some outcomes are difficult to get to. Full review
A pretty good title, with vibes from modern Tomb Raider games. The story is alright, the exploration is great (yet the map can be hard to read) but the combat is hit and miss, the enemy respawn makes no sense and most of the loot is useless cosmetic stuff.
I don't have much to say about this one as it plays almost exactly like the first game. The story is very shallow and every event is an excuse to show skin.

Congrats on finally finishing Xenoblade Chronicles, and good luck for the sequel.
Also good on you to play the 3DS Mario Golf, because the switch one is… kinda garbage.
I can’t wait for next year to hear your feedback about the Steamdeck.
Yeah, I’ve read mixed reviews of Mario Golf: Super Rush. I’ll be happy to skip that one.
Yeah, the story mode is quite short (4-5h I’ve been told. I was so bored by the golfing style itself that I haven’t gone back to it yet) and the golfing I found unsatisfying for the most part. I’m having a lot more fun with Golf Story tbh
Congrats on all of your assassinations! Glad you finished your Xenoblade series, I haven’t heard of it before but it looks pretty neat.
I loved Skyrim, when I finish my new years resolution I think that’s going to be the first game I play afterwards lol.
Thanks. I haven’t finished the Xenoblade series, though. Just the first game. There’s also Xenoblade Chronicles X on the Wii U, neither of which I have, but do own Xenoblade Chronicles 2 on the Switch. I’ll wait a few months to play it :)
