I think I finished this game. Almost with no effort. Okay, minimal effort. It’s unique among all the games I’ve played so far. It plays you, in a way. And I’ve played games that make you go out of the game in order to solve a problem within it (e.g., The Black Watchmen and Ahnayro, both of which I still haven’t finished), but this is different from them.

It’s reminiscent of Hatoful Boyfriend in that it looks innocent at first glance, and then slowly, creepiness crawls in. But it’s still a whole lot different. You’ll know why when you play it. It’s free. It doesn’t take a lot of time to play. Why wouldn’t you play it? You have absolutely no reason not to play it.

Tip: if you wanna do something like that, it’s better to hide it behind the banner, like this:

That way, you can still reference the twist without being obvious about it.

Why wouldn’t you play it? You have absolutely no reason not to play it.

I can think of a couple reasons:
1) I just don’t like the visual novel genre (dating sims even more so).
2) I already got the plot twist spoiled for me.

I didn’t even know it was possible to hide that in the banner. lol

I don’t usually enjoy the genre either, that’s why it took me a while to start it even if it’s free.
