December report

Backlog monster won again...

I made some progress on my backlog although I still played a lot of TESO due to the event of the new year.

But overall, with the luck I had at the various Christmas events, I won a lot of games and my backlog grew even bigger.

And as if that wasn't enough, I bought Assassin's Creed Odyssey on Uplay following a good deal.

After the holidays, I decided to do a big cleanup of my Steam games by removing from my account all the crappy games I got from different bundles or websites and that I will never play. I managed to delete 432 games! Here is the evolution of my stats after this operation:

In 2019, I want to finish more games than in 2018, especially my Steamgifts wins and the other games I won elsewhere. I've stopped playing TESO for now, so I'll have a lot more time for my backlog fight !

Happy New Year to all !

Not a bad game, but the last levels are almost impossible to complete without a solution. Nevertheless, I had a great time playing this game, it's really unique, with its black and white graphics and mouth-made sounds.

A really beautiful and easy to finish game, with relaxing graphics and music, it's cute and well-made, but really short. Great game to play with kids.

430 games? Impressive :D

It does show how much junk lies in our libraries. I was never game collector, and still managed to remove 70 games. Firstly dropped from 480 to like 430 games, kept removing games since, when I decided I won’t play something after all.

I never though I had this amount of junk in my library ! I still have some crappy SG wins that I can’t delete because when I discovered SG, I was trying to win all the games, even the crappiest ones !

This cleaning is a progress to the path of not beeing a game collector anymore and only buy/win the games I really want to try.

Griff3nZA

I realised that it is better to have a smaller library of game you can’t wait to try than have 1000s of games you have to play. I removed a bunch of games but ly library is quite small. There is something so reward about trimming the fat though :D

430 games? Thats hectic though. I don’t even have that many :/

tsupertsundere

That must be a huge weight off your shoulders! So many games… I’m glad you’re free of them!

I stopped playing ESO after the last event, too. I feel kind of burnt out by the events, plus the person I played with made a new character because of the sorcerer changes, so none of our quest progress is similar at all now and we don’t know what to do when we get on. I probably won’t subscribe this month and work on other things for now.

jullebarge

Yes it’s the same for me, got burnt out by all the grind and repetitive quests for the events. And from what I’ve read, it’s going to be worst in 2019… My sub ended before the Christmas holidays, no plan to renew it soon. I’ll come back one day to this game as I’ve still have a lot of quests to finish, but a break is needed !
