So what happened here? I honestly don't know. After completing the first one (a while ago), I thought I was really looking forward to this one. Turns out… I had loads of trouble getting into the second. Did I make a mistake by looking into guides and trying to be smart? Yeaaaaaah, probably. So I played it going for: High Chaos and Stealthmode and no powers. I hate it. This is no way for me to play. Stealth, yes. No powers, also yes. High Chaos? WTF! So I loaded, loaded, loaded shit. Oh, and saved a lot. And loaded. I hated this way to play. It really didn't suit me. So I guess it killed the joy of gaming for me. This took FOR EVER!
Also I'm not really sure, how much this sequel was needed. I could happily have lived without it, I guess. Which is super stupid to say. Am I looking forward to the next one? I honestly have no idea. Could go either way: Better or even worse. Guess I'll just have to wait and see ^^

Dad Tip #81 - It’s better to be early than late
Damn, I’m really hesitant about that game (Dishonored 2). I’m hearing a lot of “not as good as the 1st one” feedback and I also heard they went crazy and made huge maps, which in my opinion does more harm than good in stealth games. It’s a shame, really. The first Dishonored was awesome.

I did at least 4 playthroughs, two for each character, one for stealth/no killing and the other for high chaos/achievements. Is not much a reload game if you know the paths enemies may take, that’s why I recommend doing low chaos ending first, arm yourself with patience and go on. Tbh, I enjoyed more D2 for the lore than D1.
Yeah, I confess, my attempt at being smart, maybe backfired. Like a lot! grimacing
Plus I actually really would like to try it with Emily as MC and with abilities and without killing. Uh. Maybe I should. At some point. Not right now. First I have to do my PoP month AND I should really finish Episode 2 with HITMAN. I’m stalling :D
Not sure if I could play it four times. But then again I completed Thief too, so who knows :D
Going for high chaos+stealth+no powers all at the same time sounds frustrating. I liked the second game a lot more than the first, but I did a playthrough for low chaos+stealth, and a separate one for high chaos killing spree+no powers.
Stealth was the most annoying with the whole thing. Plus I’d normally just wouldn’t go round killing everybody, so thaaaaaaaaat was rly stupid :D
