Finished Games Report
Since my last post I’ve finished a couple of nice one. They were all part of challenges and this seems to have become my favourite way of picking games I want to play.

  • Midnight Mysteries 4: Haunted Houdini

    5 hours playtime

    7 of 16 achievements

  • Octodad: Dadliest Catch

    7 hours playtime

    8 of 32 achievements

  • Portal

    4 hours playtime

    5 of 15 achievements

  • Grim Fandango Remastered

    16 hours playtime

    47 of 47 achievements

I also played a bit of Cities: Skylines (if you count 20 hrs as a bit) which I bought as a present for myself before the holidays.
I liked all of these games, some more, some less. I liked Midnight Mysteries the least but it’s hard to compete among the other games which are all known for being excellent. I actually played through Portal before I knew about Steam so it seemed appropriate to play it again before trying the sequel. I didn’t play Grim Fandango back in the nineties and I’m sorry for that because it must have been an awesome experience. Nevertheless I liked Octodad the most, I expected the controls to be even more clunky, I actually thought they were perfect for this game and that they add a bit of flavour to the gameplay. Anyway thank you for recommending all of these.

I completely agree with Octodad! I normally don’t like intentionally awkward controls and get frustrated but was pleasantly surprised with how fun it was and fit the whole game. Happy backlog killing, hope you enjoy whatever you decide to play next. :)

I don’t think you needed to replay Portal before Portal 2, it’s simple enough - not many things to forget, but then again I played it twice myself ;)

Yes I agree it’s not needed I just wanted to. :-D
