    Deadly Premonition 2

    Deadly Premonition 2

This game makes me feel really conflicted. On one hand, I adore the MC just as much as in previous game, and if we’re judging by technical standards this is much more competent than the previous one (wasn’t that hard of a feat, but still). On the other hand, SWERY really starts to show what horrendous formula he wanted to follow all this time. This game is pretty fetch-questy and grindy for no good reason most of the time (if you want to do side stuff), just like The Good Life. DP2 is, thankfully, way more fun because at least it has action segments (they still do feel slapped-on sometimes, but whatefer) and characters I actually cared about. While the overall plot wasn’t that good, it was still enjoyable, especially in the last chapter. Besides the grind stuff, the game is kinda way too easy.
I’ve got through the main story. Fuck the stamps, man. I’m not that insane.
Overall, it’s a pretty budget-y, but surprisingly enjoyable sequel.

This is a great sequel. It has pretty much the same mechanics and somewhat reuses previous game’s structure, but improves it in some parts. The somniums are way more unique now and there’s more puzzles in it.
My only complaint would be is that the new protagonists are not as interesting and fun as Date, but they still hold up pretty well. There’s still a lot of dumb humour if you like it.
For some reasons BA doesn’t see achievements for this one, but I got them all.
    Overall, it’s a great follow-up.

I wanted some dumb linear brainless fun, and that’s pretty much what I got. It’s a third-person cover shooter that’s more designed for co-op but still playable in singleplayer. The plot is just some b-movie-tier stuff for you to have the reason why you’re shooting guys in that place now instead of previous.
Shooting part is okay, but it’s really freaking inaccurate, since MC tends to miss the crosshair center a bit pretty much all the time. Also screw the AI buddies that keep hitting you all the time if you get to close.
The game has two endings, both equally dark and feel really abrupt.
    Overall, this game was alright.

    THE CORRIDOR

It’s a very barebones The Stanley Parable wannabe game. While some of the jokes are eerily similar to SP, there were a few fun moments. As much as I don’t really want to shit on the developers here, it’s still kinda short and lacking, and you’re better off actually playing The Stanley Parable.
