I finished both Alan Wake and American Nigthmare and well. I liked them. I didn’t really understand the end of Alan Wake, I felt it a little forced but I enjoyed the game. It has really great moments. Then American Nigthmare was just nice. I didn’t enjoy it as much as the first but it has good moments too. Like that with “The Happy Song”. Both them feels a little like a movie and I liked that.
And then is Life is Strange. I just love it! It makes me forget that I’m in a videogame. I feel like what I do really matters and that moment in the roof was just great. I was under pressure and didn’t knew what to do but I finally made it right. Only thing that frustrates me is that I’m not able to get all optional photos even though I look very hard. Finished episode 2 yesterday and I hope I’ll finish the game this week.

I’m looking forward to playing Alan Wake, thanks for your write-up, for some reason I’ve had some issues with its performance that have kind of made it unplayable which sucks… I knew something wasn’t right when it told me my system was below the minimum requirements…
Anyway I can help you out with Life is Strange, once you finish all the chapters you’ll have an option to go back and re-play the game in a special collecting mode where you can select scenes you’ve missed the photographs in, it even highlights which ones you’ve missed so don’t worry too much about missing them while you’re playing through the story :) I really enjoyed the game too!

alan wake definitely stood out as a different kind of game for me, in mostly a good way. haven’t played american nightmare yet but sounds like it’s what i would expect where it’s a lot like alan wake but not quite as compelling because it’s not the first.
It is in fact a different game. About American Nightmare I should tell you that it’s not much like the first one. The story it’s indeed related but feels more like a spin-off. It’s very short but it still fun and has an arcade mode, which it’s great considering that in the first one you may wanted to shoot more of those guys.
