Update #3: February 18th – 24th 2019

I don’t play a lot of older shooters but this was one was really solid!

The weapons felt really good to use, especially the Concussion Rifle. It was really satisfying to fire it and kill a whole group of Stormtroopers in one go. I did tend to get lost quite often in maps (especially in that sewer level) because of the maze-like level design and the thousands of keys or items you have to collect.

I honestly can’t remember how I got this game. It’s a pretty disappointing VN that was supposed to be the prelude of a 4 chapter VN series which ended up not happening.

Another Challenge Me game picked by ninglor03 and a Steam Gifts win. I didn’t really like this game back when I first played it because I was trying to get every single collectible. This time around I didn’t focus on getting them and I ended up really liking it!

It took some time getting used to the controls but after finishing a few levels I got used to them. The game was not all too difficult, I only had trouble with the last 2 levels which were pretty challenging.

This is was the first game I’ve ever won on Steam Gifts and I finally got around to playing it. I did not enjoy it at all. It’s pretty short but Act II just dragged on and on.

Some of the solutions to puzzles didn’t make any goddamn sense so the in-game walkthrough was a godsend. A lot of times it was some specific dialogue option hidden beneath a branching dialog tree that progressed the story. The translation was also not the greatest.

I’m just glad I never have to play this game again and that it is removed from my backlog.
