Monthly Update #32: December 2021
Looking back, I didn't beat or complete many games this year, only 16!
A huge difference to last year where I finished 60. I did play a fair few longer games this year which I'm happy about, and have been focused on working on my apartment. I'd say it's been a successful year even with a 4 month lockdown here.

I got a few games this month, special thank you to my Secret Santa this year - made absolutely excellent choices! I've already 100% LiS:BtS >.>
I bought both Red Dead Redemption 2 and Mass Effect: Legendary Edition - I've tried RDR2 for an hour and haven't got into it yet, so we'll see if I decide to refund it.
BLAEO Secret Santa
did you bought AC Odyssey gold edition by any chance? If yes, how’s that AC III remaster?
Yes I did! I haven’t actually played it.. I haven’t played any of the AC games pre-Origins! D:
Congratulations on all of your assassinations!
How is New World? It looks fun but with the PVP and the player run economy I’m kind of shying away from it.
New World was fun! It’s definitely had a lot of issues though, so not really worth getting as an MMO to stick to. I treated it kind of like a gathering/crafting simulator, so if you like doing that it’s worth it just for that.
To many problems with level gaps/not able to play a lot of content, such as pvp unless you are in like your factions top guilds etc.
What did you think of Life is Strange: Before the Storm?
Also I’m really looking forward to Eastward, so let me know once you try it!
I liked it! It’s not as good as LiS, and it does kind of rely on having knowledge of what happens in the original game for some emotional moments. But it was still fun to play through.
Eastward is put off for now haha. I’ve been going hard out on Witcher 3 >.>
Haha. Is Witcher Season 2 the culprit for that?
Also considering I never managed to finish the original LiS …
Haha its probably a combination of:
• Witcher season 2
• I was looking for a long open world game
• I was on holidays, with another COVID outbreak, so not really going out much…
Yeah I wouldn’t recommend LiS:BtS without having finished the first game :P
Congratulations on having a successful year in spite of the long lockdown!
Your plan for 2022 has so many good games on it, I hope you’ll enjoy them. And your finished games of 2021 may not be that many, but they look pretty neat overall. Some of those are really quite long! Finishing everything in the AC games takes a while :)
Yes I think I have a fair amount of great games to get through this yea. Hopefully I can get through some of them without getting distracted to much :D
I really enjoyed my time in Origins and Odyssey, so it didn’t feel like they took long at all! I’ve felt like some 5 hour games I’ve tried to 100% felt longer! :P
Happy New Year :)
