This is a beautiful game. I love the gameplay, I love how you can mix and match the abilities and have different outcomes. Some combinations are better than others. Some are almost useless, especially later on. I enjoy it a lot. But the ending leaves much to be desired.

Still, it does not take away the enjoyment of playing the game. It’s also quite an easy game to play. I used a controller, so your experience may vary. But definitely play this if it’s in your backlog.

I often see people say that Transistor was only meh to them and they always seem to say they just stuck to their favourite combinations throughout the entire game. If I could force everyone to try out as many different combinations as possible, I would. :D The combat really made the game shine to me (and you get more and more of the backstory revealed as you experiment with the functions, so it’s really imporatnt…) so I’m sooooo glad to see you say that you played it in the “correct” way! :)

Thanks! At first I was just using the skills to get the backstories, but soon enough I found out they make for interesting combos. Some of the enemies kinda force you to try out other mixes anyway, like when I encountered the “fading” men and I was left with a useless pull and mask skill set coz they took out my other skills.

I’d probably play it again in the future just to see what else I can do with the combos.

I couldn’t stop at the “end” and went straight for New Game+, as I had correctly guessed that the game kept giving you more functions and I was eager to keep trying new combinations :blobaww:

Tried ALL the things! And I wish I could force everyone to get 100% in Transistor.
