Strangeland

8/10

Game published by Wadjet Eye, and this is for me a certificate of good quality. And I wasn’t dissapointed - very nice, creepy adventure game, which was reminding me of good old Sanitarium. I finished it two times, normally, and with commentary, with which I could fully understand a plot, because there is a tone little nods to literature and other media. Gameplaywise - nothing groundbreaking - classic adventure gaming stuff. Beatiful, creepy and disturbing art style. Fully recomended, but before buying check the trailer - it is very good representation of game’s mood.

The Darkside Detective

6/10

Steamgift win. This is the most generic adventure game I ever played. You are a police detective specialized in paranormal activities, and you are solving a couple of unrelated cases. Ghosts in library, zombies, gremlins on the run - this kind of stuff. And that’s basically all. You have a partner who I swear must be a relative of Kronk from Emperor’s New Groove and is at the same time amusing and annoying. You are collecting stuff, and using it on other stuff, from time to time there is a logic puzzle. It’s not bad, but I cannot see here anything memorable.

Congratulations on all of your assassinations! If you had to pick out a favorite game this month, what would it be?

Aquilla

Definietely Journey To The Savage Planet - this game has most of my favourite things in games.
