I hope you did not experience the game-breaking bug in Last Day of June where the game wouldn’t ever load a save correctly. I had to finish the game in a single playthrough, which is extremely annoying when trying to get all achievements. Otherwise it would have been a good game. There were other bugs too, but that was the worst.

uh oh, that kinda has me worried. i haven’t finished it yet and have only loaded my save like once. how long ago did you play it? i’m curious if they patched that out yet.

Trent

I played it in March 2020. A quick look at the discussions suggest that it’s still a problem. I can’t imagine it happens to everybody, so maybe you’ll get lucky.

If you do run into it, you can try what this post suggests. Otherwise, just play the game in one sitting…or better yet uninstall it.

Nice. What’s your opinion on Days Gone and Turok?

andreeeeeww

both were really fun. i figured days gone would be, but i was really more surprised by turok. i was a playstation kid so i had never played it before. the steam version really did it justice and although the graphics are still n64-era, the game overall was pretty good. i didn’t get bored at all while playing it.
days gone has an interesting story with an entertaining sandbox-style gameplay. side-quests, collectibles, you know the type. i’m pretty disappointed they aren’t making a sequel.. there’s a second “secret” ending that totally sets it up for one, but i guess sony didn’t like the sales numbers so they shut down the idea of making a sequel. 😐

Yeah, Days gone got mixed reviews by “gaem journalists” if I remember correctly, I can kinda understand that because it doesn’t look very innovative, but I personally like the idea of being a biker in zombie apocalypse ala Daryl Dixon. Tbh I think so-so sales is the reason it got PC release, it wasn’t a console seller and Sony had little to loose, but that’s just my speculation.

I liked first Turok too, played it for the first time last year I think. I really really recommend the sequel if you liked the first game, it’s even better imo.
