That was heavier than I thought, but I was able to push through. Felt like it’s never gonna end. I might put off the “serious” type games for a while and focus on the more fun ones. Not to say this one wasn’t fun, but I get stressed each time I’m almost running out of materials and food, and I tried my best to not make kills (I failed, but they deserved it. At least that’s what I tell myself.) It took a while for me to get a rhythm of what I should trade or get when I’m out scavenging. I read a bit of guides but it’s easier when I face the problems myself and find the solution later on.

I think this game deserves to be played by everyone.

It’s an excellent game, but with its grim desperation, it’s definitely on the serious side rather than what would typically be described as “fun”. I still remember my first attempt when I was learning the game. I didn’t know that you could run (so I was constantly running out of time without accomplishing much) or reinforce the house (so I was continually getting raided and losing all of my supplies), and my little group quickly spiraled downward with injuries, illness, starvation and depression. It was a pretty miserable experience. My next attempt went much better. :)

It reminds me my first fight attempt - I was at supermarket and hear noises on the other side of door. I peeped through key hole and saw man with rifle threatening a woman. I decited to help her, despite I had only a knife. I opened a door and rushed into him aaaaand well, had stood next to him. Guy with rifle got angry and shoot me. This is how I learned, that if I want to fight I need to switch to “fighting mode”. .__.

Ouch! Yeah, I don’t remember the game having any kind of tutorial, so there are some things that you have to learn “the hard way”.
