computer problems have fallen upon me and i’m surprised i was even able to post this update. at least it gives me an excuse to buy some new hardware that i’ve been wanting for a while. my birthday is this month so that’s how i’m able to justify it to myself. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I heard Journey is amazing, and how was Horizon Zero Dawn?
journey was really neat.. i of course had heard about it forever ago but never got to play it. i knew i wanted it as soon as i saw it on steam. i really enjoyed it, but i think it’s still a bit overhyped. my very first playthrough i found another player roaming around right at the beginning and he stuck with me for the entire game helping me find collectibles. it was definitely a unique experience.
hzd was so damn good. you play as a girl with a bow (and some other stringed weapons) and you’re taking on some giant hulking beasts at times - not even bosses, just regular enemies. the story and the combat really shine bright in this game. there was bits of the story that i thought i had figured out, only to be wrong later on. story-wise i think it’s up there with ‘the last of us’. i really wish sony would share more of their games with the pc players. kinda frustrating that i won’t be able to play the sequel.
