Just, Bearly is a game about anxiety. I don't play a lot of free games because of my never-ending backlog, but since I suffer from social anxiety, I thought I'd give this a try.

Overall it's a nice little short game! It's basically just a series of short minigames that repeat until you get a sweet conclusion. The minigames are a little confusing sometimes without instruction, but that's a minor inconvenience. I think it tackled anxiety fairly well for a 20 minute game and I'd like to see more games successfully take on issues like this.

If you have 15-20 minutes to spare, then I recommend this one.

I've sunk many more hours into Dead By Daylight. I finally got to rank 1 as a survivor and discovered I really enjoy playing Michael Meyers. I plan to edit my review tomorrow since I have much more knowledge about the game then I did when I wrote it. Overall it's still loads of fun.

Beyond Good and Evil has been a lot of fun so far. I've barely started but It holds up surprisingly well for such an old game. I bought it so I could play the sequel but I think I'm going to enjoy this one too.

Nusakana is a really neat rpg-maker game that puts you on an island and gives you tasks. There is a survival aspect, combat, dating, etc. It feels like an old gameboy game that you don't want to put down.

Just got Shiness: The Lightning Kingdom in the humble monthly. It was the only game I wanted out of the monthly but at least there was one game from my wishlist. So far it's been a fun experience. I'm still at the beginning but it has it's charm. There are some negatives about it I can already point out, but I'll save all the chatter for when I beat the game and write my review.

That's all I've done this month so far. I hope everyone is having a great summer!

Just goes to show you can have no idea who has anxiety. After seeing how personable/easy to talk to others you’ve been and with asking to play mp games etc., you’ve helped push me to try and get out of my comfort zone and anxiety and play online more. I’d of had no idea! Glad you enjoyed it, will have to play it soon as well. :) I installed it when I saw it on the main page, but forgot about it (thanks!).

I’ve heard so many amazing things about Beyond Good and Evil! It’s my friend’s all-time favourite time too. Had it not been recommended so much it probably would’ve never been on my radar, as it does look quite aged at first glance. Nice to hear that someone without nostalgia attached thinks it still holds up.

aww thanks! I try to be more social online to push myself to be social outside the internet. Also I’ll write a review on Beyond Good and Evil when I’m finished to let you know if it really stands the test of time :)

Hey, when you beat Beyond Good and Evil, can you tell me why it’s called that? I ask because I beat the game and still can’t figure it out. The Alpha Section says the Domz are evil, the IRIS Network says the Domz are evil, and when you finally confront the Domz, they don’t even try to defend themselves, instead saying token evil things like “join us so we can take over the world together.” (I’m paraphrasing that last one since it has been a couple years since I beat it, but that’s basically what the final boss says).

hey no spoilers lol

I’ll let you know when I beat it though!
