28 April 2019 / Summary of 4 months

Finally done with the batch:

  • FaeVerse Alchemy

    17 hours playtime

    10 of 15 achievements

  • HuniePop

    40 hours playtime

    15 of 20 achievements

  • ONE PIECE PIRATE WARRIORS 3

    6 hours playtime

    7 of 40 achievements

  • The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings Enhanced Edition

    75 hours playtime

    38 of 52 achievements

FaeVerse Alchemy: Poor. It just gets boring and repetitive really soon.
HuniePop: Exceeds Expectations. It was hilarious.
ONE PIECE PIRATE WARRIORS 3: Poor. Barely got it running, controls were weird. I just didn’t like it enough to even go through the story.
The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings Enhanced Edition: Outstanding. I finished it twice (took me a while…) to go through the two main story paths. Brilliant game.

Also finished these on my HOG-spree-weekend:

  • Alex Hunter - Lord of the Mind

    10 hours playtime

    no achievements

True Fear: Forsaken Souls Part 1: Acceptable.
Adam Wolfe: Exceeds Expectations. Looking forward to the sequel.
Alex Hunter - Lord of the Mind: Poor.

I wish you a loooot of fun with Witcher 3. I love this game so much!
And I always wanted to try Witcher 2. I should really play it particularly you like the game so much that you play it twice ;)

Yeah, I totally recommend Witcher 2! Of course after you’ve finished the 3rd, it may not seem that good - worse combat, less important choices, worse optimisation, etc. I remember once I got Witcher 3 as a gift, I was in the process of finishing Witcher 1. So I just opened Wicther 3 and played 2-3 quests just to “feel” the game, then immediately uninstalled, so that it doesn’t ruin the 1st and the 2nd game for me :D And I’m actually glad I managed to finish 1st and 2nd before starting the 3rd properly - I now understand the background of all that’s happening so much better.

I like your method or ‘batch’ for how you’re tackling your backlog! Nice job with those progress. And it’s reassuring to hear that Adam Wolfe was great as I’ve had my eye on that game.

Hidden Folks overwhelmed me, but it’s still a good HOG game. Very unique in terms of artstyle & how it’s overall presented… And Glass Masquerade is very pretty one with nice music. One of my recent favorites. Can be done in a few hours or days, or just take your time of course. If you’re into achievements too, well you’re in for good news because this one has a lot, but they’re all doable :)

Aaand I’ll also start playing The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt properly. Goodbye real world, I guess.

Ahaha. Bye! 👋🏻

Adam Wolfe is kinda unique in terms of HOGs. The ending was a bit disappointing for me but I enjoyed the experience nonetheless and hopefully the sequel will be flawless :)
I’ve tried a bit of Hidden Folks the other day before sleep and decided to try it once I’m well rested instead - it’s truly overwhelming :D

Good to know I wasn’t the only one overwhelmed 😅Hopefully you have fun regardless!
