May 2022

May in one word: variety. Longish games, short ones, good ones and meh ones. The highlight is definitely Citizen Sleeper. I hardly ever buy games on release but since I liked In Other Waters very much, I was really curious about what its dev would pull off next. And boy, is it good! I've also dropped my first game this year, Sniper Elite, which I found so repetitive that I couldn't bring myself to finish it.

Congratulations on all of your assassinations! Citizen sleeper, I’ve never heard of it- but it looks really cool! The game style looks a bit intimidating to me but the art and storyline looks good. I’ve put sunlight on my WL to pick it up later, I like the “for every download a tree is planted.”

Thanks. Don’t be intimidated by the gameplay of Citizen Sleeper. It’s an easy game focused on storytelling. As to Sunlight, I was disappointed. You just walk, listen and pick a few flowers. It’s beautiful but a far cry from the likes of Eastshade or Eidolon.

Congrats on your progress! I’ve never heard of Citizen Sleeper but it looks really neat. Going on my wishlist

Yeah, the dev didn’t do a lot of promotion which I can understand since it’s pretty much a solo project. Hope you like it as much as I did when you eventually pick it up.
