Update number unknown + 10, about pride and accomplishments.
The Dark Eye: Chains of Satinav ⌛ ~15 hours | ✪ 34/36 | ☑ Beaten |
One last game for the "Team Assassination" theme. As some of you might recall, Dandey and me played Memoria earlier this month. Memoria is a direct sequel to Chains of Satinav, so Dandey figured out we should play this one as well. Great timing too, because it was discounted for the Steam Lunar sale!
The animations are quite terrible, but the story is just as intriguing as it was in Memoria. Easily one of my favourite point & click adventures, I'm happy we played it :)
By the way, I haven't participated in any mothly theme for a looong time, hence the aforementioned accomplishment. It truly felt great to... well, accomplish some kind of a goal for a change :)

Battle for Blood - Epic battles within 30 seconds! ⌛ ~25 hours | ✪ 14/14 | ☑ Completed |
Battle for Blood - Epic Battles Within 30 Seconds is a free to play, single-player "match 3" kind of game. An obvious mobile port, but a decent one. It runs well and works fine with the mouse, and although there is a cash shop, it's not designed to be a cash grab! Grinding the in-game coins needed to upgrade your little warriors is quite easy (and quite enjoyable, because the game is enjoyable to play). If you are looking for a little relaxing time waster to play a bit before bed or while you're taking a break from a difficult game, give Battle for Blood a try ;)
Désiré ⌛ ~5 hours | ✪ N/A | ☑ Beaten |
Désiré is a black and white point & click adventure about a young boy (and then a young man) who is unable to see colors. I...didn't really like it, to be honest. It tries much too hard and what was supposed to be meaningful dialogues often comes out as somewhat irrelevant rambling about how life is a bitch. Almost every character is fucked up in some way and while that could make for a deep, grim experience, it just rubs me the wrong way in this particular case O.o
Deep Dungeons of Doom ⌛ ~4 hours | ✪ 16/46 | ☑ In Progress |
I grabbed this game a long, long time ago when it was briefly free somewhere. Finally got to playing it and so far, I like it. It's a rogue-like(lite?) 2-button hack-and-slash in which you can take a role of a crusader, a witch or a mercenary and venture into the deep dungeons of doom /puts on sunglasses/

I loved Satinav. And Memoria has been on my itching to play list, well, ever since that list existed.
And of course the Désiré dev famously removed his game from the store in a fit of rage and invalidated a bunch of keys. But it looks like it’s making a comeback! How ‘bout that!
Lucky Thirteen
Huh, I heard it was removed by Valve because of some fake reviews shenanigans O.o And yup, I noticed there’s a new store page for the game, that’s probably going to mess up a few things quite a bit!

Yeah, I might not have my story quite straight. Maybe Valve removed it because of the shenanigans, then the dev invalidated keys. Or something. :p
I wanted to play Deep dungeons of doom since i knew about it, maybe is time for me to give it a try. Nice streak :)
