Alright, the following are done and dusted:

Diablo III: Reaper of Souls

0 hours, no achievements

Man. It took me a long time to get around to buying and playing this one. One one hand, I was a bit disappointed by how pulpy and comical it was, even when trying to be serious. It was just a game that refused to take itself seriously. On the other hand, it was still a completely fun ARPG, and the dialogue, banter between characters, and so on was pretty cool. Graphics held up perfectly, but that is a bit easier given the style I think. Anyway, I'm not exactly sure how long it took to finish the campaign. Probably in the 25-30 hour range I'm guessing. Played as Monk btw. Until the final boss fight, I actually did not die once. I did die twice during the last battle though. Default difficulty. Anyway, I doubt I'll replay it or do any of the rifts, but it was cool.

I do think people who are used to Diablo 3's presentation are going to be taken aback by Diablo 4's seeming return to horror. Should be fun internetting lol. Looking forward to D4 personally though.

Halo 2: Anniversary Edition

26.2 hours, 73 of 700 achievements

Halo 2 is still a stunner, and a definite step up from Halo 1 as far as pretty much everything is concerned. Level design, pacing, story, voice acting, graphics….it's got it all. Plus, switching between the Arbiter and Master Chief to provide different perspectives heading towards the same inevitable outcome was really cool, and the side characters were much better developed such as they are. The Sarge in particular is a fave. It's also consistent with the other games in the series at about 8 hours in length. Halo 2 is still a must play even today. Anyway, I actually never played Halo 3, so I'm looking forward to jumping into that next.

You can change that by changing the appid from HL2 to Diabolo 3 😉

HL2 is the standard appID that is set.

I changed it and after that didn’t stick, I changed the appID to 0. Didn’t stick. Then I said fuck it and posted anyway.

You can change it manually in the code that you post. Just look for the ID HL2 id and then change it to the Diabolo 3 one. For some reason it has that bug sometimes.

Diablo 3 isn’t on Steam, so it has no ID. The generators were mostly made with Steam games in mind, but you can use them with non-Steam games too - just leave the “search game” and “AppID” fields empty and fill in the stats manually. You can change the image to a custom one too, or remove it entirely if you don’t want one - look for the image type option.
