I enjoyed Super Mario 3d land greatly as well way back when it came out. I think it was one of very few games to actually make proper use of the 3d effect. There were some rooms they had in there, where the blocks appeared flat and then would actually be in a funny perspective with the 3d on. For most other games it was just a cool effect, but on this if felt more necessary.

Sorry to hear about your injury! When you have kids you very quickly learn that you are not as energetic and unbreakable as you once were. Hope you get fully better soon.

Thanks. My kids were more worried about the injury than I was. We were running and bacause of that, they somewhat felt responsible. Poor things!
Regarding Super Mario 3D Land, my son played it for a while on his New 2DS XL but quickly gave up, being frustrated by the perspective, just like I was when I played Equinox on SNES years ago.

Ouch, sorry to hear about the broken rib, I wish you speedy recovery. On a more positive note, it seems like a great gaming month when you’ve rated five stars for 3/4 games. :)

Thanks. Hopefully, it’s only a matter of weeks. Regarding my ratings, even though I tend to be easily pleased, I do a lot of research before purchasing a game so I usually avoid the really bad ones.

Nice set of games! It’s cool to see folks playing non-Steam games, like in this case your 3DS :) I loved ME2, but ME1 I still yet to finish.. Totally feel you on the Mako controls… oh god…

And holy hell, that is a scary situation. A broken rib 😳Like others have said, we wish you a good and successful recovery. 💌

Thanks for the kind words. I’ve always loved Nintendo handhelds (though I skipped the GB advanced). The 3DS is really new to me and I’m having a blast. As you’ll see in my monthly posts, I also play on other PC clients as well as on the GameCube and Wii.
And I’m looking forward to playing ME2, probably in June.
