Really, REALLY pleasant suprise. It’s a little platformer with a lot of small levels. The cool thing in it is that every level has it’s little spin on the rules of the game. You have underwater level, level with smaller gravity, level with lasers, level covered in snow, in which you cannot move, only jump… There are A LOT of them and everyone is interested thanks to those small changes. I also like the respawn system in which you have checkpoints, but you can also immidiately respawn in a place you died, if you spend money you are earning during game. I like it, because if you are stuck, you can go back to previous levels, grind a bit, and brute force the hard part. All in all - good little game.

Ok, that’s a one game, and it should be counted as a single game. As separate games is laughably short and the story between them just go fluently. As one game - it a 100% classic adventure game, in a good old way. For some reasons it gave me strong Grim Fandango wibes - the story is different, but the art style, the atmosphere, even the main character best buddy, who is a mechanic. First act is basically a demo - just one quite big location and basically 2 hours of gameplay, second part is the best - in this dark, harbour city, the third part at first I was dissapointed, because it promising something else what is delivering, but the ending was EPIC. Another good game if you like old fashioned adventures.

I like collecting and searching for stuff, so I was brave enough to check a game which your only goal is to search for thing burried in the ground. The gameplay is incredibly basic, and walking through nice enviromnent is relaxing, but the game has two main problems. First of all - finding stuff is annoying - to after localizing a thing you need to spend around a minute searching for exact spot to dig, then dig, then cleaning the thing, then identyfying it. And none of it is particulary entertaining. But even bigger problem - there are just too much stuff to find… To the point that I couldn’t make three steps without stumping on hidden treasure. last levels where just annoying - I was digging, and digging, and digging and I didn’t even start to search - treasures were just popping everywhere. So nice idea, bad realization.

It’s a game on my wishlist because it has a cat, with a witch hat! And it looks like a cute game 😽
