2019-03 Report

Continuing my challenge to beat / complete at least 5 games each month this year, March was another success!

Last Month

I enjoyed all of these games, especially Dying Light and The Turing Test. Strider didn’t run well on my computer, there were some parts where it ran like slow motion, which did actually make the game easier, so that’s a plus, I guess. :P

Beaten Completed (Previously Beaten) Completed Beaten / Completed Backlogged Balance
3 0 2 5 2 3

I don’t count DLCs as an addition to the backlog, so that’s why the backlogged count for this month is 2, as I already owned Hitman.

What’s Next?

These are the main tasks that I’m focused in for this month:

  • Beat something from the monthly theme succeeded last month
  • Beat Luxor HD (and maybe complete) failed last month
  • Beat Luxor 2 HD (and maybe complete) failed last month
  • Beat Rise Of The Tomb Raider (and maybe complete)
  • Complete Dying Light (previously beaten)
  • Complete Grand Theft Auto IV (previously beaten) failed last month
  • Complete Jotun (previously beaten) failed last month
  • Complete Outlast (previously beaten) failed last month
  • Complete Pinstripe (previously beaten) failed last month
  • Complete Silence (previously beaten)
  • Complete Strider (previously beaten)

Congrats on beating your challenge. Silence is in my backlog as well, good to hear that it is enjoyable. Good luck with your next goals, sounds like a lot of (fun) work that lies ahead of you ;)

Also, nice touch adding the Steam activation-list (or whatever you wanna call it) to the review.

Thank you. :) Silence is only a bit short (took me about 6 hours to beat it), in comparison to the prequel, but it’s a really nice game.

I must applaud your dedication! You may have failed beating GTA IV this month but you still beat your 5 games. I couldn’t do it xD I only beat two in like a month and a half.

revilheart

Thanks! I already beat GTA IV, now I only need to complete (100%) it. I had beaten only 3 this month, so I was afraid I wasn’t going to be able to do it, but I managed to beat Dying Light yesterday and today I found a short game in my library (Out There Somewhere).

adil

Ah yeah, you’re aiming to complete GTA IV! Isn’t that even worse? xD Like it will take longer than just beating it. At least that’s how GTA V feels as I don’t really remember how bad the achievements are in GTA IV.

revilheart

For sure, but at least I already beat it. xD

Congrats on keeping up with the challenge, Dying Light is not a small piece of the backlog to deal with (but it’s such a good one). The Turing test was also pretty good in its category. Best of luck for april :)

It really is, Dying Light is what Dead Island should have been. I’m really excited for the sequel now, specially since choices will affect the outcome, which will be pretty neat. Thank you. :)

EvilBlackSheep

Alleluia. I really wanted to like Dead Island when it was announced (still remember that teaser) but then it turned out to be a really boring disappointment to me. Dying light on another hand? So good. I’m super excited for the sequel (but now that I think about it, it’s gonna be another Epic exclusive, isn’t it?) especially with Chris Avellone being involved in the writing.

revilheart

Oh, I have no idea. But it will end up on Steam eventually, right? I don’t buy new games anyway, I always wait until they’re cheap. So I don’t mind waiting.

EvilBlackSheep

I was just speculating tho, nothing has been announced yet. Plus i’m with you on that one, I usually wait til the games are cheaper (and come with the dlcs), so I don’t mind waiting if it’s a timed exclusive.
