So I got this game even though I dislike 2d platformy games. I got it because of the message behind this thing - and because they donated part of the income, as far as I remember. I tried and tried and tried to play it. And I'm not good at it. Since I was challenged to play it for the PoP group, I played it. And suffered a lot, because I was so bad at it and CONSTANTLY lost ppl. In the end I only managed to survive everything once with ONE guy. Everybody else was dead -.-
Did I like it? I really don't think so. It stressed me out way too much. And I don't like that with games. But then again I made mistakes over and over, so it's my own fault. I'm still not sure, if I'll try getting the "easy" cheevos, I'm still missing. I might look into it and do that. Or not.
I still like very, the message. We don't want war! And there should not be war, because in the end ppl will only suffer from it! So yeah, I'm totally behind that. The rest, is the same. I still don't like 2d platformy games. It was way too dark, way to sad, way to depressing ;(
Recommendation?: Yes! We. Don't. Want. War!
Cat Story ahead!
So Christmas happened. Not thaaaaaat interesting for cats, but at least a bit interesting. We had present wrapping ribbons, paper bags to stuff noses in and present wrapping balls. SO EXCITING! \o/
We also had a cat in a basket – because he can and loves baskets. We had hiding cats – while my bro and sis in law where there. And we had one super brave and cuddly cat (Tizio) who wanted love from those two. So that was really nice. But humans! Next year also pls presents for cats?!?

As many great things I heard about This War of Mine, I haven’t gotten it because I believe my opinion would be much like yours - great message, depressing gameplay, a LOT of losing.
