Yeah, don’t even ask me, how the numbers don’t fit. I don’t get it. Even more so, since I deleted a few games this year, which is not included in the left list. Also the numbers don’t fit my game numbers on steam. OH WELL! I tried! \o/
Overall I’d say I did good! I’ve finished more games than I bought. And by now I have more games completed than not played. So I’m happy with that!
Currently I have two unfinished SG wins – which is doable – and two I want to get back to at some point.

I even brought you a list off all the games I’ve finished this year:
Clicky here
I wanted to get 100 games – which I didn’t manage to do. So I’ve been thinking. Should I raise my number of games to beat per month? Currently I have 6, maybe I should try raising it to 8. But I already know how that might totally stress me out. Even more so, since I’m having a few gaming – and other hobby stuff – problems. Ugh, I shall try and see how that works out.
So from now on: 8 games per month. And some months I have to finish 9 or I won’t get the 100. Don’t want that.

Let’s see if we have some worthy mentions of the year:

  • Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc
    Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc

    50 hours playtime

    38 of 38 achievements

Totally got me by surprise. Totally have to play the next one this year!

  • BioShock™ Remastered
    BioShock™ Remastered

    36 hours playtime

    64 of 65 achievements

Well would you kindly play this game if you haven’t done so? It’s great, trust me!

  • Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy: The Telltale Series
Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy: The Telltale Series

    11 hours playtime

    30 of 30 achievements

We all know how I love my TT games, right? I’m not a big fan of the guardians, but I really liked the humour and the story and all that. So yeah, totally worth mentioning!

  • Quantum Break
    Quantum Break

    24 hours playtime

    42 of 42 achievements

Oh man, yes! This was soooo nice! Not only do I like a few of the actors they got for it, I also very much liked the story and game play. Also it was one of those games that totally made me go for the hardest setting in the game and beat it! And yeah, get all the achievements and different outcomes. So there we go!

  • Coming Out on Top
    Coming Out on Top

    20 hours playtime

    32 of 32 achievements

Oh Jeeze! I love it! Still do! Also it’s still trying to get back to it. Although I totally know the story and everything, but….
Oh, btw Gayness inc <3
Yeah, still fighting the daily battle of not going back to it sigh <3

#BATMAN

Wait, what? Yeah, I know.
But I’ve played a few Batman games this year and I enjoyed all of them. And they all become hard to separate in my mind at this point, so I can’t really say which one should be mentioned here most. So instead:

  • Batman: Arkham City - Game of the Year Edition
Batman: Arkham City - Game of the Year Edition

    39 hours playtime

    40 of 64 achievements

  • Batman™: Arkham Origins
    Batman™: Arkham Origins

    35 hours playtime

    22 of 60 achievements

  • Batman: The Enemy Within - The Telltale Series
Batman: The Enemy Within - The Telltale Series

    10 hours playtime

    30 of 30 achievements

<3

So I thought about adding Dreamfall Chapters and Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes, but… yeah, well in a way I’m doing it right now, am I not? :D

Yeah, that’s been my year! Lots of games played, a couple added.
Let’s see what the next one brings us!

Happy backlog killing to you all! \o/

Oh 8 games sure seems like a deep goal you are giving yourself but I wish you all the luck with it

ninglor03

Well I have to do this with a plan. Like maybe half of them should be from the pop short sorting. And obviously one (at least) long. And… uh… two medium? And then I’m lost. Jeeze, no idea how to do this. Or even start with me playing My Time At Portia right now :D

Cece09

as long as you dont spend to much time like with farm together shouldnt be to much of a problem.

ninglor03

Ahahahahahaha cries
I think Farm Together will be nothing compared to that one x.x

Happy new year, congrats for the victory on the backlog in 2019 and good luck with your ambitious goal for 2020 :)

ninglor03

Thanks! Any great gaming plans for you?

EvilBlackSheep

Making a 2019 summary post, for starters. And then trying to attack those xmas gifts that have been fed to the backlog.

ninglor03

Hehe, that sounds good to me :)
Have fun playing them!

skanda

I’ve finished more games than I bought. And by now I have more games completed than not played.

Congrats, those are big achievements!

And always good to see some love for Bioshock and Arkham games, glad you enjoyed them. :)

ninglor03

They sure feel like it! Next (tiny) goal: Reach 50% completed! \o/ I hope I’ll get there at some point :D

I sure did! Although the first Bioshock was by far the best for me :]

Arbiter Libera

So from now on: 8 games per month. And some months I have to finish 9 or I won’t get the 100. Don’t want that.

I’m just continually impressed when I see how many games some of you can put out in a month. That’s mindblowing to me. ;D

ninglor03

Yeah, sometimes it also blows my mind. I’ll get in trouble once I run out of short(er) games though xD

Lucky Thirteen

In my opinion, you shouldn’t try too hard to beat 100 games per year. Beating 8+ games a month seems like a pretty good way to burn out, if I’m honest. Unless you just happen to play a lot of shorter games some months. Gaming should be fun first and foremost, and I think most of us know that we can get really frustrated if we force some goals upon ourselves.

No matter what you decide to do, good luck and have fun, Nin :)
And congrats to beating 94 games in 2019, that’s already pretty impressive!

ninglor03

Yeah, you are absolutely right. I’m feeling it already atm with the PoP games. I never seem to get around to finishing games I’d like to do - like HITMAN. Still not even close to done but I somehow never get to it.
So yeah, you are right. Burning out over games should also not be the goal. Maybe I should just not set any goals and just see what I’ll play and that’s fine too thinking

Hope you’ll also have fun with your games! Have a great gaming year 2020 :)
Thank you \o/
