Monthly Update #24: April 2021
Another month of buying stuff for my apartment really. I ended up getting a LG CX 55" TV.. got a rug, ottoman, pillows, throws, towels, art etc.
Pretty much just got a couple of small things left to get, and my sofa which is delayed until July 23rd :(
I also spent this weekend working on making a bedhead and shelf for on top of some IKEA shoe cabinets I've put up, using a similar wood panel I used to make my desk. Just waiting for the Oil to soak in, and I'll hopefully put that up at the end of the week as well. (My bedhead budget went to the TV instead haha)
Played & Beaten!
I played a few smaller games this month. All for that Monthly in a Month event on SteamGifts - some thing to get me playing, even short ones, while I have different priorities at this point in time. Hopefully I'll have more gaming time starting this next month or so :)

Last day of June left me wondering and thinking for days, about the inevitability of life… It’s not a really good game, since gameplay is somehow strange, but one that impacted me with it’s storytelling. :_(
I am finding it strange, but I’m liking it so far. I’m hoping to finish it before HB choice reveal, so I’ll see what I think once I finish it!
It does very well at conveying the story without words… It’s not exactly a happy game
What do you think of “Iris and the Giant”?
I had fun playing Iris and the Giant! It feels a lot like Slay the Spire in a way. I hope to play it more when I have time, just I wanted really definite ending games this month haha
