I honestly didn't expect to play the second almost right after the first one. But here we are. I got challenged to play it, so I did. I liked it. But let's just face it: The first game was better. Although I really liked the focus on the daddy/daughter thing in this one. Still it lacked the drive from the first one. And even more the surprise in the story. Somehow that didn't happen again.
In the end I'm pretty sure I destroyed the place this time more then last time. Maybe that's a good thing though.
After having beaten the whole thing, I tried the DLC, but was totally not motivated to do that. So I am abandoning this at right this point! (Also I already know I won't bother about the hardmode cheevos I can't 100% it anyway, so no biggy, right?)
Yeah, I'm totally bad today with this review thing :D

Well this certainly was different. I get why ppl hand out games they liked an hope others will play and like it. I can't really say it was bad either. I'm just still not convinced I like games like that. And although I'm giving this one a pretty low rating, the story wasn't like bad or anything. The rest was more of a problem.
So yeah, we switch playing as a dragon girl and her "papa" or both together - and at some point other combos as well. In this world dragons are the only creature who can wield magic. They have unique abilities. Like the girl dragon can sniff out lies and eat them. She travels around with her "papa" and they get mixed up in situations that needs to be solved - aka eat lies a lot! In the end we get to learn the background story of "papa" and maybe have a happy end! \o/
It's a pretty short game, all in all. Also mostly pretty straight forward. "Papa" mostly points out what to do next. Very useful. Took me a while though to figure out we have an inventory. (AND! the games can save! \o/)
Recommendation? Uh, yeah. If you like pixely games and all that ;)
Cat Story ahead!
So the cat story happened pretty soon after posting my last update. It was a super cute cat story. I just came out of the shower and Tizio was sitting on the sink counter – can you say that? Well obv I can! He was looking into the mirror and that way looking at me. And our eyes met and I was like: “Hello my Baby!” And you could really see the recognition light up in his eyes, he turned around, looked at me and made this lovely, cute mieow! It almost sounded like he said: “My human! So happy to have you!” Did I ever mention how in love I am with him? Well I am! <3
I’ve been listening a lot to The Witcher audiobooks, bc I don’t wanna start the third game, before I’m done with them. So yeah. Resumed some painting at home I had going on for… years. And Our Love will Grow works pretty well with it too – and the PPU Challenge of the month I guess.
I had doggo duties in the week, bc my parents were out to a concert and treated themselves with a night in a hotel. That was pretty okay-ish. Only trouble: Doggo is pretty much deaf. The times he can actually hear, he refuses to follow instructions. Mostly. Or at least while we’ve been out on our nightly stroll right before doggo bedtime. We came back our dark driveway and he apparently sniffed something out, so he dashed ahead and before I knew what was happening, he ran into our neighbours garden. Since I didn’t want to scream at him – ten pm and such – I was totally prepared to follow him. But luckily he seemed to remember, that humans sometimes say things and it’s sometimes nicer to follow them. So he came back to me – or he realized he was in the dark and got scared. No idea xD Buuuut I was a bit cross with him and first reaction was, telling my parents, I won’t do it again. Doggo duty. In the past we never had these problems, but ever since he is a really old dog, he’s just doing things his way. I took it back by now. I will do doggo duty with him again. Having him on the leash, every time we go out. That’s that :] No more horse poop and no more running off into neighbours garden. No, dear doggo, these times are over! ;)
What else? Oh right, I’ve been visiting Chinese embroidery course. Sadly we didn’t do that much embroidery though. It was mostly looking at awesome works and learning a bit technic. Somehow I was totally prepared to start stitch something beautiful… well, guess that didn’t happen. Maybe I should dig out my embroideries and get back to that :]
Ceramic related a friend of mine made me think of something.
I would be very happy to paint for every blaeo member, who would like me to make something for them. Only thing I would want is the actual prize I have to pay for doing the whole thing and the shipping. Nothing else.
Maybe that is interesting for some of you. You know where to find me ;)

Paranormal State: Poison Spring CE was the first HOG I’ve ever played. It’s an alright game. I don’t know the rest of them.
It’s been a while since I’ve read the Witcher series, but IIRC some of the books haven’t been oficially translated yet, but you can find fan translations online. That’s how I read the last 2 books.
PS: Those Mary Poppins plates are amazing, but how do you use them? o.0

Uh. Well, that’s a so called “french plate” - no idea if french ppl use something like it though - and you can put your croissant on one and jam on the other. For example. Ooooor - which I think is super more fancy - you can put your mug on the smaller one and cookies on the bigger one :] <3
I love those plates! The Mary Poppins theme is awesome. Are you into Doctor Who at all? I think one with Van Gough’s exploding TARDIS would look awesome. Those ones kind of remind me of it for some reason.

I have a carpet in my office like that :P. There’s probably lots of Doctor Who themed ones you could do but I always like the Van Gough ones. I’m not into art/paintings but I do like his stuff, especially Starry Night.
Yeah, but it might turn into a problem copying things like that and selling them on etsy. Bc of copyright and stuff. I’m not even sure about the Mary Poppins inspired ones. Although I didn’t copy/paste, it’s all handpainted. Ok, the Mary Poppins had a bit help while being made, but the rest is my clumsy attempt at making art :D
In the end it wouldn’t be a problem, bc I love Doctor Who and could just keep it - or just show it to ppl who love Doctor Who as well \o/

Ohhh, when you mentioned the ovens not working a few months back I took that as baking the tableware. Of course you can do it for the paint coat also, I completely forgot about that. :) It’s been a good 12-15 years since I glazed my own work in school, apologies. haha Picking the right sizes & colours definitely takes an artistic eye as well. You should be really proud of all you’ve made! A lot of gorgeous, professional looking stuff..all while still keeping your own personal touch. :) Best of luck with your shop.

Well it really depends on the amount you want, yk? If it stays under 2kg (ceramic really is not that heavy luckily) and the package stays small enough it’s under ten euros. Maybe we should talk about this via steam though ;)
