December 2021
Year is over. Finished 18 games during this year, got 18 new ones. What a failure for backlog. :D Still, some of the currently unfinished games are in good progress so hopefully numbers drop in January.
Ongoing
Has been my main game lately. Good one but takes quite a while to finish this one. Already closer to the end, though.
Running through the covenants (game's difficulty levels). Don't know how hard the last ones will be but hopefully I get all cleared.
No progress on achievements.
Tested this one but will take time before I can return on it.
Managed to beat the main campaign on normal difficulty.
Changes
The game is basically a glorified Pacman. You go for the smaller fish. Eat them. Grow stronger. Eat bigger fish. Grow stronger. Eat crocodiles, other sharks, humans, boats, whales. Become the alpha female hunter of the ocean. Queen of waves that unleashes her fury to all and everyone. It outstays its welcome slightly too long. As I said, the game mechanic is quite simple. More varied enemies and more things to do would have been better. Luckily, it does not try to push for 20+ hours. But overall it was fun eating everyone and everything.
Well, at least the backlog did not grow :) And with some of your listed games nearing completion, January will be a big change, as you say. Horizon looks really fun, hope you continue enjoying it.
Aye, but it gets hard to reach that level of ~5 games altogether in backlog. Giving up for temptation and getting new games I have been interested in when they are bundled and so on. Couple more finished games in January and progress will be back on track. Hopefully. :p
Finished Horizon. It was a good game. Enjoyed it even if it took a bit too long to complete. Crushing through quest got easier once I reached max level and loot.
