It seems I’m cleaning up my backlog more than actually playing games, but at least I don’t have a “what if” for many games now, so this must count for something!

Lost Horizon This was kindly gifted to me, and I plan to play it next week.
There’s a known issue where the hero refuses to run. I tried every possible solution online, but he just keeps walking sideways. Saves didn’t register and I had to replay scenes 3 or 4 times, which is annoying. Camera would not turn to player’s POV and get stuck looking sideways at walls. He would sidestep or overstep for no reason and fall to his death (also, he dies falling from 2m or less). At one point, I could not exit the game. Grabbing and jumping are prone to astrological phenomena or something.
I’m pretty sure I would have loved it otherwise, but I just don’t have the patience to put up with all that.
Wow, that’s ridiculous. Thanks for letting me know the details. One would think there would have been a community mod by now.
Sands of Time is that bad? I was thinking about acquiring it on Steam and replaying it since it’s been well over a decade that I completed it on PlayStation 2. How bad are we talkin’ here with the aforementioned bugs?
