First week of August

The progress for this month started very well, hopefully it also ends like that too :)

Completed SG wins

Gray Cat
Playtime: 1.5 hours
Achievements: 7 of 7 (100%)
Review: Oh god I am bad at this game and I am not sure how I didn't lose my sanity completely as the game has no checkpoints. It is a platformer you have to play from the beginning each time you fail. Thankfully the game itself isn't too long.
Gomo
Playtime: 1.2 hours
Achievements: 0 of 0
Review: A slooooooooooooooooooooow point and click game that if the animations wouldn't be so slow it would probably last 15 minutes at most. Drove me insane and I am very disappointed at it.

Other completed games

Freebie
Playtime: 2.9 hours
Achievements: 5 of 5 (100%)
Review: Shitty reflex game. I don't get why anyone would like it but ok. Proton version doesn't work properly (my ProtonDB report from a year ago says: "Runs at 5-10FPS. Unplayable." but I don't remember it at all).
Ice Cream Surfer
Playtime: 8 minutes
Achievements: 31 of 31 (100%)
Review: Some trash game with completely broken controls and achievements that are unlocked before you even start the game somehow.
Princess Remedy In A Heap of Trouble
Playtime: 1.8 hours
Achievements: 0 of 0
Review: I have mixed feelings about this one. On one hand I was really confused at the beginning and it felt like it dragged on forever but on the other hand I did actually enjoyed it most of the time.
Hidden Object Bundle 4 in 1
Playtime: 12.8 hours
Achievements: 0 of 0
Review: As the title suggest it has 4 HOGs in it. 1 is good, 2 are meh and the last one is -10/10 as you can not pet the damn cat in the game and they do kinda hurt the cat :(
Lovers ' Smiles
Playtime: 1.6 hours
Achievements: 100 of 100 (100%)
Review: I.hate.physics.games. I guess the game itself is not awful, but I.hate.physic.games.
Road Madness
Playtime: 2.6 hours
Achievements: 6 of 6 (100%)
Review: A game so bad you can literally finish a level even if you die at the beginning of it by just letting it run long enough on the "game over" screen.... no, really... I am glad the dev decided to remove the game from sale, because boy this is bad and should not have been sold in the first place.
Two Point Hospital
Playtime: 168 hours
Achievements: 46 of 46 (100%)
Review: I think the amount of hours I have in this game should say enough. If it doesn't: it is a very good and silly hospital management game. I had an absolute blast playing it and I am looking forward to any new additions to it or DLC.

You. Hate. Physics. Games. And I am mean enough to make you play them anyways. Yeah I know, bad slave. But hey, at least we kept you company during the game. Might have saved your sanilty šŸ˜œ

MouseWithBeer

I sure do.hate.physic.games :D
And yes, yes you are :P

RikkiUW

Finishing a level by waiting on the game over screenā€¦ thatā€™s a kind of hilarious bug.
Some serious dedication to complete Two Point Hospital! I enjoy it as well but it gets a bit repetitive for me, and micromanaging the hopeless janitors drove me a bit nuts sometimes. I set it aside with the intention of playing a level every once in a while and havenā€™t picked it up again since.

MouseWithBeer

Yepā€¦ it is not something ever expected to see for sure :D
I completed it over the course of 7 months so it never got really bored of it. It can get repetitive but it didnā€™t really bother me thankfully. No point in forcing yourself play it if you donā€™t feel like it :)

Garcias

Iā€™ve started Two Point Hospital in March but lately havenā€™t played it much. I think I suck at these types of games? I mean, Iā€™m ā€œalmostā€ at the end (currently at the 10th level), I got 3 star on the first 8 levels but couldnā€™t manage to get it at the 9th and now I canā€™t manage to get the first star on the 10th level :(

MouseWithBeer

I dont remember which level is witch anymore (never counted them) but i donā€™t really recall having much issues at all (some levels took a while but werent hard) except for one level in the main game (which I had no issue with the 2nd playthrough so I guess I just did something wrong the first time) and a one in DLC but not the 3 stars, but getting an achievement where you have to play way past the 3 stars for it.
If you tell me what were you struggling with I can probably give you some tips about it how to fix it.

Garcias

Iā€™m at ā€œSweaty Palmsā€, and the objectives are pretty direct (according to wiki, I donā€™t really remember if they were those): Cure 100 Patients, Cure Rate of 75%, Hospital Value of $2,000,000 and Thermal Comfort of 75% . The ones Iā€™m having trouble with are the cure rate and the hospital value. Iā€™m at a point that I have a few workers, but I cannot kick anyone because I need them all, and a few of them are uneducated, but I cannot educate them because I always need them. Also, Iā€™m running low on money, I think Iā€™ve expanded too fast? But if I increase the prices, my hospital ā€œlevelā€ goes down and I have less customers, so I have less money, and itā€™s just a big mess currently xD

MouseWithBeer

Sorry for the a bit late answer. My tip would actually be to fire some people till you start making profit again. Workers are the only ā€œuncontrolledā€ way you lose money in the game so thats the main thing you have to be careful about. It is not the end of the world if you queues get a bit longer (the only thing I work make sure is that you have enough janitors so stuff doesnt blow up (and if you have the Pebberley Island DLC use the ice sculptures that come with it instead of the air conditioners). Once you start making money upgrade all your machinery you can up to max (if you can do level 3 because you dont have the research: you can go back to an old hospital that makes profit and research the upgrade there) and start training people. At the same time also slowly start hiring more people/adding more rooms if needed (might also wanna take a look at the game settings in the overview and play with the minimum diagnosis rate and if people go back to GP office after they get diagnosed). Just take it slowly and make sure you dont hire too many people that you are not able to pay. And donā€™t be scared of queues getting a bit longer (5-6 people, as long as they are not dying/ragequiting while waiting) :)

Might not be the most efficient way to do it and might look you are moving in the wrong direction at the beginning, but this is how I saved a hospital from being almost -500k $ in debt and all possible loans taken out (the DLC hospital I mentioned). I hope this is of any help to you. There is probably some more random knowledge I could probably throw at you but I think this is a long enough wall of text for now :P

Garcias

No problem, I also forget to answer the messages here (as you can see). Iā€™ll save this and try it when I get the urge to play the game again. Thanks so much, Mouse!
