Aaaaand the next month is over. I started to watch some anime again besides AoT (who's with me on the hype train?) But somehow I can't find something that's awesome enough to hook me up. Recommendations maybe? I prefer more serious stuff =3=
Haven't crocheted anything I wanna show either. I'm still working on Dragonair and a pillow for my best friend's birthday. And I'm about two months too late 8D

    I was lucky enough to win this game thanks to Bounty Mode. And it's totally awesome! Again this is a game full of love in each scene, character and conversation. It's about Niko the Messiah and you the God. It breaks the fourth wall pretty often as you talk to Niko and give him instructions. You also have to solve puzzles ingame and outside the game. But I don't want to spoil too much!

    I would have loved this game being longer. The characters were so lovable I'd love to have a bit more of them. The story itself was pretty great too but as the game being rather short with around three hours long it could not touch me as much as it may could have. Though it kind of remembered me of Undertale with the choice between the luck of the NPCs and the one of your main character and trying to find something to achieve both. Big big recommendation!

    Grim Fandango Remastered

    I'm sorry I really can't rate this game. The story and the main character Manny were really awesome. Still I hated everything else of this game. I hated it's puzzles and the gameplay and the perspective of the camera and the graphics where I often couldn't recognize things and searched the hell out of the area until I finally found something hidden in a far too dark area or only so little I couldn't see it with this resolution. The puzzles were really abstract. This may be the point & click game with the most abstract puzzles I have ever played and after some time of deep frustration I had to use a guide to complete this. And even with that some things remained unclear.

    I wasn't aware that the game is so long! I thought it would be over after the first chapter or year but there are three more, so four in total. I was surprised and with the great story this definitely is a pro but with me having to force myself to play this it was a contra. I just wanted to get over with it x_x

    I'm sad myself that I couldn't enjoy this game. Manny is a lovable character and you grow on him while the story continues. And I really wanted to know how everything would end, else I would've dropped the game.

    The achievements are a joke too. The guide I used didn't cover these up so I missed almost everything but that's totally fine because of one achievement required to play the whole game with a keyboard. I play P&C games since I was very young and I always used my mouse, always hated the arrow controls and there is just no way I'd every replay this whole game with them. Nope.

Just finished AoT season 3 part 2 last night. SO GOOD. I waited so long for them to open that damn basement I’m thinking about reading the manga because my hype is too big to wait for s4 next year. >.<
Do you have a MAL profile? It’s hard to suggest something without looking at your last watched animes.

How is Cadence of Hyrule? I never liked Crypt of the Necrodancer, but I saw a video and it looked so much fun and the soundtrack. God, the soundtrack. LoZ soundtrack is always amazing. xD

CoH is really awesome! Never tried CotNd but I don’t like rogue-ish games and it seems pretty hard. CoH is just about right with it’s difficulty and it’s sooo much fun! I almost died when I heard the song of storms song :,D

Yeah. It was way better than I expected. I was glued to my tv the whole time. I just need to watch some youtube videos explaining a few things I might have missed like why the guy tells Grisha to protect Mikaza and Armin, people he doesn’t know. Does he share memories with a future titan carrier or is he eren somehow? Idk.

Ok. Here are some suggestions, in order:
First of all, do yourself a favor and watch Koe no Katachi. It’s the reason I got hooked again on anime ever since Naruto stopped airing on tv, some 10+ years ago.
Monster I really like Naoki Urasawa and this is one of his best. (If you like manga, try 20th Century boys. It’s reaaaaally good. No animes so far)
Byousoku 5 Centimeter (Since you liked Kimi no na wa and Kotonoha no niwa from Shinkai, might as well try some of his older works. This is one the best of them. Btw, there is another one releasing in a couple months)
Mob Psycho really good action anime, if you want more action after SnK.
Boku no Hero Academia same reason above. I liked this one a lot.
Cowboy Bebop A bit older, but it’s a timeless classic.
Hibike Euphonium I never thought I’d like this one, but I did. Maybe you’ll too. xD
Seishun Buta Yarou wa Bunny Girl Senpai no Yume wo Minai It sounds dumb, but it’s funny and has its moments.
Dororo I haven’t tried yet, but a friend told me she liked it a lot.

Great question. My theory is more like something like a time loop as if everything repeats itself over and over again or something. But I don’t know. I was that left confused like you xD I won’t google tho because of spoilers and I’m not the greatest manga-lover out there. Buuut I started reading LNs because I had to know how Rokka no Yuusha continues <.< Recommended, by the way!

Thanks for the recommendations! Will watch those as soon as I complete/drop anything else I have started already. There’s also FMAB waiting for me but idk. So many episodes somewhat demotivate me .-.

Thanks for the suggestion. I’ll add to my “plan to watch” list for now. I paid $1 for that MS Pc pass this month and got get the most value out of it. xD

MS pc pass is the best thing that ever happened. It’s a subscription service where you pay $1 and get access to 100+ games for the first month. There are games like Metro Exodus, Halo, Gears of War, Ori and the blind forest, Shadow of War, ReCore, My Time at Portia, and so many indies. It’s incredible value for your money. I hope it succeed because a netflix for games is all I ever wanted. I never use most of my games after playing once anyway.

Hey you’re actually not done with OneShot!

The second time you play is different, and then there’s the solstice ending…
This is one of the games that you’ll want to 100% to truly enjoy the full experience and I can safely say on behalf of all the fellow assassins who have completed Oneshot that you should get back to it!

Oh I did that! Then there was the “…” button, also tried this but it didn’t seem to be different? Though it kind of confused me… :,D
I don’t have every achievement yet, but I will complete this game with everything for sure. I made a mistake with the plant and watered it too soon and it still drives me too crazy to give up now!

Oneshot sounds great, never heard a bad opinion about it so far :) It’s interesting to hear how you felt about about Grim Fandango, it’s good to see a different opinion/perspective on a game too. And how are you liking Darkside Detective so far btw? There’s a sequel coming out if you end up liking it ~

OneShot is heartwarming, I ended up trying to spread the word by giving copies of it to some friends. The twitter from one of the game’s artists, Nightmargin, for a while was a goldmine of precious drawings and memes with Niko, it made me smile many times :3<
