What a month! I started going to university and goddammit. The first days were so hard for me! So much new stuff to organize! It's still overwhelming and so much to do, I terribly sucked at the challenge and hadn't much time to spare. Especially math is going to kill me. I always loved math. Still do. But heck I don't get a thing. Every week we get a exercise sheet and somehow I thought we're already halfway through. Then I realized we only had 3 sheets done of over 20 :D But because we already did so many topics in math I thought there can't be much left. Guess I'm wrong. I'm a bit terrified and also friends are already quitting only thanks to math being too difficult but I'm still doing my best =3= Also it's such a nice feeling getting a sheet back with 100% after hours after hours learning.

    So after I absolutely loved TItP1 I had to buy it's sequel and I enjoyed it pretty much as well. Although it has a lot of improvements, it's better and worse than it's prequel at the same time.

    First of all I want to talk about it's cutscenes because when I thought about buying the game and read the reviews before I had my doubts. Reviews say it's cutscenes are long and boring and while I do see why that's a popular opinion I really enjoyed them. Well. At least after it's beginning b/c before you're finally able to play the game you have cutscene after cutscene that take about one hour. So considering that you only can refund your games if you haven't played them for more than two hours this wasn't a good start at all. Sitting through a damn hour of cutscenes indeed was boring and more than annoying. Though after those I liked them. They are still long and most of the time they're pretty bland. There's one cutscene for example where Jack goes inside the sheriff's office to have a talk. It's important for the story what he talks about and what it's outcome but instead we see this conversation, we watch one between two officers talking about the difference of white and black mold. I get why that isn't everybody's taste but I found it's style pretty funny tbh. Somehow reminded me a bit of Pulp Fiction.

    The story itself wasn't as good as the prior. Getting money also was very easy and the only difficulty the game had was sending your officers to the crime scenes (as in 1) and the new tactic missions.

    The first half of the game it's important that you're good at managing your cops as you get points for every criminal caught. With those points you can buy more cops and equipment. Later on you're not able to buy anything anymore so I got the feeling it didn't matter anymore if I catch any criminals or not.

    Missions were awesome improved. You always have to give instructions what your officers shall do at the crime scene. You have to take a look on their skills, their level and their equipment. If a slow cop follows a man he will fail to catch him and so on. Also they can level up and you can skill them. There's also a loyalty system now! Cops that don't like you won't listen to you, neither at crime scenes nor a tactical missions so you first have to gain their trust.

    The tactical missions were... well. I liked them sometimes. Most of them are not skipable (the ones that are will give you penalties if ignored) and those also have to be won or it's game over. Just like in it's prequel you can't save midday and those missions mostly are the last thing you'd do for the day which means you have to finish them or replay the whole day again if you quit. One mission was a pain in the ass x_x I just couldn't do it and a friend tried for me and failed too so we had to replay it several times which took more than two hours? Retrying over and over and over again wouldn't even be that bad IF the animations weren't so daaamn slow. Those missions also have their own game now (Rebel Cops) and I really do hope they improved it's speed.

    I also missed the challenges of the first game such as keeping the female quote or whoopsie, suddenly you have to pay some thousand dollars because of shit has been going on. The game added it's own challenges but they weren't challenging, tho still fun to play.

    I'd say I fully enjoyed the game until some point. After that it wasn't bad but it wasn't outstanding either (and not that addictive as I was addicted to TItP1 anymore). And I was kind of... disappointed by the end. But overall if you liked the first game you probably will have your fun with it's sequel!

Hang in there :)

Maths at university level can be pretty tough, especially in the beginning. I made it through maths and even minored in it (my major was computer science) and I am no math genius ;) You just have to learn, how to get the hang of it. What kind of maths do you do?

Math in school was so wonderful ;A; Just what happened?
I study computer science too! So definately not the hardest math there is >D But you’re right! Even if it’s overwhelming it’s not impossible. Thank you for bolstering me up!

Ahh, that Pikachu is so cute! Gotta Crochet ‘Em All! indeed :D

As far as maths goes… I can’t help much with it :/ Currently busy studying for my final exams, even if very little… at least I managed to find that tiny sparkle that says “Yeah… this might actually be doable!” in my mind.

Thanks! Luckily the school year’s still closer to the start than it is to the end, so I still have a while… hehe… Iwilltotallyregreteversayingthishaha- I meannn… ^^;
I bet the math you’re doing is way more complicated than what I’m dealing with, but thankfully, I know it’s not my thing… so this is the last hurdle I have to get over before I can dedicate myself to learning languages~ I hope I’ll turn out to be a sleeper hit, since I’m (lazily) trying my best! (^o^)/

Crocheting is not that hard! I learned it with youtube videos and other people’s patterns. Everything else you need is some patience and being about a week without internet!

I’m sure you can do it! School can be pretty tough too. I always enjoyed math in school but the last few years even I asked myself why the heck we have to learn this. Luckily I still had my fun with it otherwise I don’t know if I had passed :,D

I mean, come on, is there anyone who doesn’t ask that? :D

My dream is to learn Japanese! Then I think I’d like to study English, just to properly learn the grammar so I won’t be afraid of taking J > E translation jobs. And I guess learning basic French or Korean could be cool too, if I ever had time for that - those two come to mind when I think about interesting languages. Maybe also Chinese.
