Mid June Update!

wow I haven’t done much backlog fighting this month at all. I’ve mostly been playing Dead By Daylight. I did start a few games though. Some I enjoyed and some I might add to my “won’t play” list. If anyone has any questions about the games I’m playing feel free to ask! I won’t be writing reviews until I finish them.

More

I enjoyed Echoes of the Fey: Episode one, so I decided to check out this free prequel. The first game tells the story of Sofya's past. In this VN you get to play through that story. There really isn't any twists and turns. You know exactly what is going to happen if you've played the first game, but it's nice to be able to see it regardless.

The gameplay is the same as the first game. It's a visual novel with choices and some point and click elements. There is a timed sequence you have to complete but it's incredibly easy.

Overall, this is just okay. If you enjoyed the first game then you might as well check it out. Other then that, it's nothing stellar and doesn't add anything new.

Hope everyone has a great week!

I look at my last month, and see so many games finished. I look at this month and only see Dead By Daylight… DBD was the real killer all along…

It’s so true. I try to play other games but then I’m thinking, only one more game of DbD. It’s a never ending cycle :P

Oh, I didn’t know there was a free prequel to echoes of the fey! Do you recommend playing it before or after the major game?

stef

It says that you can play it before, but I actually recommend the first game first. The reason is because the mystery of her past and finding out in dialogue throughout the game was more interesting then just seeing it in the prequel.

It makes sense either way though. Just whatever your preference is :)

No, no, that makes a lot of sense. Kind of like Fata Morgana and Requiem for Innocence. I’ll leave a note for myself to do that!

How’s Witch it? Any issues with it so far? Decent community? I watched some guys play it on Youtube and was a lot of fun, especially with a group of friends like GMod. Been trying to win in on SG would love to give it a go, but my brother would have to buy a copy as well. Not sure I really wanna spend $20 for two.

Love Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes and Don’t Starve, hope you’re having a blast with those!

Witch It is such a pretty game but the community is almost dead :( I’ve tried getting into a match for days and could only find two. Plus I was extremely excited to play but it’s a lot more boring then it looks. The hunters have unlimited ammo and just spam click everything on the map. The gameplay is just not fun for Witch or Hunter :/

I would personally wait because the game needs a lot of work I think. But if you have friends who you want to play with and you enjoy videos, then you might enjoy it!

Aw that sucks, no games tends to be the curse with Early Access mp games…I had a feeling. Shame that even rn with the bundle it was so difficult. Appreciate you letting me know, will give it a pass for now and keep an eye out on it.
