Quisty

It’s been a long time since my last progress report. Why? Because I’m too lazy to type and my boss was on vacation, no days off. I played lots of games in the past three weeks and I even managed to finish some. So, let’s see…

  • Hexcells
    Hexcells

    40 minutes playtime

    4 of 6 achievements

I started playing Hexcells for the monthly theme and I’m loving it. I used to play Minesweeper a lot when I didn’t have internet. I almost beat it in one sitting but my work finished early and my boss kicked me out. Gotta love those quiet days at work.

  • Chef Solitaire: USA
    Chef Solitaire: USA

    18 hours playtime

    20 of 20 achievements

This is a recent sg win that I managed to beat today. At work, obviously, where people normally play Solitaire. It was ok, but there were way too many levels. Looking at the global achievements only 10% of the players finished it.

  • Leviathan: The Last Day of the Decade
Leviathan: The Last Day of the Decade

    9 hours playtime

    5 of 17 achievements

Another sg win that I started a few days ago looking for a casual read. It’s a detective visual novel by Russian devs I believe. The translation is rather poor, people were complaining that at some point they didn’t bother to translate at all, but I didn’t get there yet, so we’ll see. Lots of spelling mistakes as well.
Despite that I’m liking it so far, it’s very different from the anime VNs I played. The dialogues are funny, it looks good and the world seems inspired from the Harry Potter movies.

  • Renowned Explorers: International Society
    Renowned Explorers: International Society

    56 hours playtime

Somebody made my day by gifting me this game because it was on my wishlist. Thanks, Pesmerga :)
It’s a mix of genres. You start with a team of three explorers, each with unique stats and skills, and go on expeditions around the world trying to gain enough renown to become the most famous explorer.
Every location has random events. You earn different types of tokens (status, research, collect) from events which you can use in cities after each expedition to hire helpers, buy equipment or do more research to help you in your next expeditions. This game has high replayability. I’m so hooked.

  • 9 Clues 2: The Ward
    9 Clues 2: The Ward

Two HOGs down for last month’s Bad Trip theme.

  • LIMBO
    LIMBO

    6 hours playtime

    5 of 13 achievements

I finally managed to beat LIMBO all thanks to the monthly theme. This is the game that made me realize how much I hate platformers. It’s not the game, it’s me.

  • Stardew Valley
    Stardew Valley

    2 hours playtime

    0 of 40 achievements

My most wanted game. I bought it and installed it as soon as the sale started. And my expectations were too high, I got bored of it very quick.

  • The Walking Dead: Season Two
    The Walking Dead: Season Two

    7 hours playtime

    40 of 40 achievements

I finished it in two sittings, it was just as good as the first one. I like Jane

  • Morphopolis
    Morphopolis

    3 hours playtime

    13 of 13 achievements

Pick this up while it’s on sale if you don’t have it already. It’s a short and relaxing hidden object game.

I think I might have forgotten something, but it’s already a long post. :(

MikuIT

You got tired of Stardew Valley? How is that even possible?

Quisty

I’ll give it another try.

TCB

To each their own. I installed it and after a week found out I sinked 84 hours in it :/

Yindy

If you like Hexcells and minesweeper, you should try Finesweeper!
It’s another minesweeper clone on steam, and I kinda like it. :)
