Update 82: February 1st to 14th
February is halfway over. Another sale has started and I have not bought anything for myself so far. Don’t think it will change.
Finally was able to finish this one. Looks interesting, but after a while it gets really though to master. I rage quit this last year, because I tried to play it with kb & m, which was pretty much unplayable in my opinion. With a controller it is still hard, but doable.
A nice story heavy RPG, fully voice acted. Some people complain about the combat but I can't really complain about the party AI. Never had a problem with them. You can switch freely between several different characters that either use magic or different types of weapons and that each have their special abilities.
Overall a nice game that I can recommend.
Completed the main story of Little Big Workshop (sadly I do not own the DLC) and thouroghly enjoyed it. You are the boss of your very own little workshop. You need to buy machines, hire workers and design products to produce and sell, keep your workers satisfied and fight against rat invasions and sabotaging enemies, gnomes and brain slugs. It reminded me a lot of what I have seen of Two Point Hospital.
Mediocre HOG. Travel System not really good. Played it and will soon forget about it.
I liked this VN. Have not played the prequel so can't really compare it to this one. Though it was a bit weird playing a game that mentions the current pandemic.

With a controller it is still hard, but doable.
Thanks for this - this is one of only two wins that I have considered not finishing. Like you, I started this game with kb+m and pretty quickly gave up. Maybe I’ll rummage through the drawers for a controller and give it another go.

Did you like the Music fort Masquerada? I loved it. It was one of the two big positive point for me (the other being the pretty good setting for the story).

Usually with RPGs I come to the point where it gets kinda grindy and I have to force myself a little to finish it but with this it was pretty well balanced and I never came to that point. Which means to me that thry did the storytelling very well.
Pretty good odds on that Mass Effect Legendary Edition win. ;-)
