Rules:
- Other games CAN be played
- These games MUST be played in order
- If a game was previously started, it MUST be restarted
- If a game has gone on for 40+ hours, I CAN move on
- Only one ending is required
- If a game has been played for 2+ hours and is not being enjoyed, it can be replaced with a different game starting with that letter

I am kinda interested in doing this as well, if I got your permission. I have never really made plans on what to play next, but I find this idea really cool.

the only thing I have to say is you should play it in order (because other wise its just a random list of games).
it doesn’t really matter if you are going be really strict (40 hrs seems like alot but I respect the commitment Riley is giving it wew) or just try your best to beat it.

I’ve never really made a plan before and the reason I set it up like this is beacause I was finding it hard to pick what game to play and sometimes spent almost just as much time trying to pick stuff as actually playing.
So a list like this forces you to look at one game at a time (hopefully)

I was actually thinking about taking a little bit of a different approach with the rules:
- I can play them randomly
- I can not start any other game that is not on the list (I have a huge problem about starting games and not finishing them), except Playing Appreciated wins since those need to be played in a month.
- I can still play and finish other games that I have started before the list was made
- Games on the list must have never been played before how do I past tense in English correctly D:
- Once the whole list is done I can pick the new games to start
- For any letter all SG wins/gifts must be played before any other games
Any input on the rules appreciated! And list :)

honestly you can pick whatever rules you like and pick them in any order you so desire
I offered my input on why I thought the list should be played in order but its just a suggestion.
I also have a huge problem about not finishing what I've started and I thought if I played all of them at once I wouldn't have enough motivation to beat each one.
I guess I have to sugest that if you do hit it randomly you defenitly can't replace stuff you beat with other games with the same letter (cause then you are just played random games and whether they are in the list or not doesn't change anything >_<

No, no replacing game (unless something is legitimately broken and it doesn’t run) untill they are all done and I make a new list.
I actually have 3 reasons why I don’t want to go in order:
- I think it it would feel a little bit to forced to me and I am afraid I would have less fun playing that way (for example next up would be a tower defense game, but I wouldn’t feel like playing one that day, but I will probably feel like it in the next week or so)
- I am currently abroad using a weaker, older and broken PC that can’t run every game I throw at it unlike my actual PC
- Also related to being abroad - I don’t want to start a game and not have the time to finish it by the time I have to go back home and then have trouble with save files if it doesn’t support Steam cloud.
Yea it is gonna take me a long while before I can actually play my own bought games, but I really want them to be done first ^^

ROM is really good so far - I’m on chapter 2 and really enjoying it, so I do recommend it when you have time :)
