I played some more War for the Overworld and finished up the DLC I purchased (My Pet Dungeon).

A Normal Lost Phone had a surprising storyline and I probably enjoyed it more by going into it blind.

Last summer sale (2017) I purchased the Portal bundle and I finally played the first one. It is a fun and (at times) funny game but, admittedly, I did not even try the challenges.

911 Operator was purchased by a friend to test on Linux and it works great. It is a fun “disaster simulator” that brought back memories from years ago, but those memories are too fuzzy to know exactly why.

Rusted Warfare - RTS is enjoyable and I could see myself playing hours and hours with friends like I wished I could back when I had more time (and also no Internet access or dial-up).

Factory Engineer is decent, but nothing special. I would consider it a “conveyor belt simulator” and there are several other games like it out there. If you already own it and like these kinds of games, I would recommend it. If you do not already own it, there are better, similar games available.

You’ve finished some great games :) I really enjoyed 911 Operator, and Portal of course is a classic. Some of the challenges are quite hard, I watched a lot of youtube videos to get them all…

What did you think of War for the Overworld? I have it in my backlog, but don’t know how high I should prioritize it…

When I first played it performance was terrible, but they seemed to have resolved that. It is fun, but the focus seems more on map challenges than anything else. If you want a story, do not look for much of one. Most of the main mission does not allow for much “dungeon simulation,” but there are skirmish maps and DLC that fill in those gaps. I have chatted with the developers and they have been very communicative, so I feel I have to recommend it :)

Thank you for your answer :) Ok, seems like I’ll rank it in the middle. It’s always great to have developers that are actual people as well. I’m happy you had pleasant interactings with them.

Saw your comment about enjoying A Normal Lost Phone after going in blind. I have it as well (it was on my wishlist too) and decided to play it. All I could remember was that you find a phone and are trying to figure out who it belongs to to return it. I really wasn’t expecting the story, but I quite enjoyed it.
