Third week of February

This week I have actually completed something completely different from the usual - a totally legit and not emulated Professor Layton game.

Completed games

Game Corp DX
Playtime: 3.5 hours
Achievements: 36 of 36 (100%)
Review: The actual time it took me to complete it was only 2,7 hours, the rest is from idling cards after completing it. It is a very very very simplistic game company tycoon game with a not so great UP, but I still enjoyed my time with it. Plus I got it for free from Chrono.gg so I can't complain. There are definitely better alternatives than this out there.

Professor Layton and the Curious Village - A friend recommended it to me because he knows I love puzzle games so I emulated it and we played it together via screen-sharing. There is over 100 puzzles (some are very easy, some very hard with a decent variety) to solve and a story with a twist I would have never guessed + some bonus stuff. I had a great time with it and would definitely recommend giving it a try if you like puzzles and own an Nintendo DS or are fine with emulating it. Took us 10 hours to complete it and we found and solved almost all the puzzles.

Ahhh I love the Layton games! You’re making me want to replay the originals :,)

MouseWithBeer

You should :) And I should get my hands on the other games in the series :3 shame I don’t own a DS :(

RileyHisbert

Ahh yes the totally legal method of playing rather than the dark black market of emulators ;) Cough cough who uses those

I have no idea cough cough An actual DS would be handy to play games on the go sometimes, but my wallet and Steam backlog say no :D

I feel that :P Luckily the games where cheap when I got into them and I already had a DS, so I got them for christmas as I had a long bus ride too school xP
