This is absolutely happening. And absolutely deadly for my battle against the backlog. I guess I can abandon all hope – or I need to stop after marrying somebody and playing something else, so I can come back after that? I mean I can’t possible break up with ppl and get somebody else! shock

So what happened? Christmas happened! And it was very nice. Quiet and peaceful and playing games with my family – my dad is really bad with Escape the Room board games -.- - and also a lot of me playing on my own. Plus I got the whole 12. Doctor Who on Blue-Ray aaaaaand I’m actually watching it on German so my dad will watch it with us. It’s horrible in German, but yeah, it’s still the Doctor, right? :] \o/
Also I visited a friend right before Christmas. Well I picked her up and brought her home and spent a day with her and then went back to my place. Lots of driving, but it was great!
And now, here I am. Playing My Time At Portia and trying to not feel too guilty because I’m not doing ANYTHING else – apart from the occasional puzzle. Guess that’s now winter time for me.
Btw. No snow. Sad world.
Hope you’ll have a FANTASTIC end of the year and a quiet start of the new year – yes, absolutely not fireworks in this house. And no, not only for the cats but also the environment. Like last year. And the year before that!

Try telling that to Poles… for some reason a lot of them just keep spending money on that shit. I’m glad my dog is too old to care, I think? Unless she sleeps through it, I’ll have to take care of her so she doesn’t feel scared. If anything, I wish my town would just organize fireworks for everyone, instead of leaving people to their own devices… but then again, I live on the outskirts, so how would I know if they do organize them or not, right? Haha…
I feel you. In Germany we still try implementing a firework from the town, but… yeah, in my town they also fail. And the supermarkets still sell them this year, bc of contracts. So I’m afraid there will be enough fireworks done by the regular ppl -.-

The irony lies in the fact that there’s this yearly festival that celebrates traditions and such, and as far as I’m aware, it always closed with a fireworks show on the beach… so why do they not do fireworks for New Years? Wish I knew that.
I can’t believe the stupidity of spending hard-earned money on fireworks, when one could just as easily buy a book, a movie or a game and go on a damn adventure. Oh yes, and happy Sylvester to you too :D

Yes, I used to like to blow them up myself. As kid. Still. Nowadays I’d rather go painting and sending my money on that. Or basically anything tbh :]
Literally! I’m pretty sure I never took part in setting up fireworks myself. To be fair, they can be really pretty, but there’s still the problem with how loud they are. There have been some going off for the past three hours (even though we’re still another four hours away from the New Year) and it sucks that their loudness actually bounces off of our windows so strongly :/
Yeah, I hate how load they are :(
And dirty. And how much mess they make, bc there is just garbage everywhere.

Speaking of loudness, a concert would be so much better! …though it would end up even more messy than just fireworks, haha.
Oh yeah, it’s over by now! Surprising how many people just… don’t set up fireworks when they’re supposed to go off, lol.
I also just got My Time At Portia. I played like 20 mins and I’m already hooked. I worry that It’s going to turn into another Stardew Valley for me (177 hrs online and 100 hrs off!)
That’s nice that you are doing Doctor Who in German so you’re dad can join. It may not be as great, but at least he gets to experience the Doctor regardless :P

I don’t think he likes it that much. Maybe Capaldi is the wrong Doctor to get into it. Maybe he’s just not into it. I decided to not make him watch it again. If he asks, ok. But otherwise. Nope.

It took me a while to get into Capaldi, he can be very offputting from the start. It was nice that he tried it though :P. Christmas was good, thanks for asking! Happy New Year ^_^
Well that totally lasted for not even 24h, bc my dad asked us if we wanted to watch some Doctor Who right ne night after my report. So yeah, we watched Doctor Who for the rest of the year xD
Best wishes for New Year and thanks again for organizing the Secret Santa event. Gonna enjoy this week of vacation I still have left. :D

Neither you or sam are doing anything. No wonder Mouse actually ended up playing 31 games this month, needed to make up for everyone.

I’m not even gonna beat my 6 games per month thing. Unless I do some super quick ones today and tomorrow. But they somehow never ARE super quick for me o.o
I very much dislike a lot of synchros into German nowadays. I even stopped playing games with German voice over - mostly. It’s just not the same as the original voice. And in Movies/Shows it’s pretty bad sometimes. I actually stopped one or the other Show, bv the voice just didn’t fit. And tada, in English it’s different. Also yeah, the Doctor is something entirely different in English <3 I never ever wanna hear Martha Jones in German. I might just run away screaming o.o
Yeah, you are right. I somehow skipped out on reviewing. I didn’t feel it. And yes, I slack in any writing atm. Which is horrible, but there you go. No reviews. I’ll try getting back at it in the new year ^^

And just to let you know, I’ve beaten 4 (+4 that are not listed on BLAEO) games, completed a fifth and am working on beating the 6th :p
And all of that while adding 14h of FT, too

dark rose and shiness. Oh those 2 wins sucked the soul from out of me, but who knows maybe shiness might be better on my new laptop
Because they were so bad? Or time consuming? Or…
they are just messes. both games have a reputation of having some of the worst playing games out their with frame drops, stuttering, bad controls, crashes
plus yeah they will be time consuming when you have to play them twice or just grind out the same thing over and over
ROFL story of my life. I’ll see how bad it will be once I get to them :D
