I tried playing 1 for the first time, and I’m having trouble getting through it. Although after seeing that dancing, I’m clearly insane and have to give it another go :D
I don’t know if you’re having trouble because of the gameplay, if so, I’d suggest using a mod. I really hate the gameplay in this game, but I like the story, now that I’m using this mod I can actually enjoy it.
I’ve been having a blast. The writing can be really bad at times but I just end up laughing at it. I really hated this game when I first played it, but I have to admit I’m really enjoying myself this time. Right now I really like the game even though it has a LOT of flaws. I’m also playing with a friend (we’re playing at the same time over skype) and I think that makes it funnier, since we get to laugh at these moments together. :D
It has really funny moments like that dancing gif lol. I hope you’ll manage to enjoy it too somehow. I think it’s worth it.

Gonna download that mod in case I decide that I want TW1 gone from my “won’t play” list. I have a small backlog but I’m not in any hurry to clear it right now (as in I still don’t feel excited about playing anything), so doing another TW1 attempt won’t be happening any time soon.
Playing through 1 for my… third attempt… the gameplay got in the way the first time, and then the gameplay and life got in the way the second time. Both times, I don’t think I made it past the first town. This third time around, knowing how chock full of info the menus are, and how mostly awkward the rest of the interface is, it’s a little easier so far, but I haven’t made it past where I was before yet. I did pay extra special attention to all of the tutorial bits and potions this time though, and made sure to experiment a bit, and read all the journal entries before rushing along. I also turned on the Item Description Labels (or whatever it’s called) in the options, and that helped a ton for my wanting to check out everything that’s in every room; I don’t think I even knew about that option on either of my first two attempts.
Yeah the gameplay is the problem. Thanks, I’ll download that mod and try again :)
I love the story so if I can push through the combat now then I’m sure I’ll enjoy it.

Actually, when I tried the 1, I found the FedEx quests very boring at some point (in a swamp) and dropped the game. Geralt was not strong enough to make me love this RPG and try the 2. He may be better in the third episode, see if I’ll own it someday.

It’s all a matter of perspective! We both see a perfectly innocent gif of 3 people dancing in a fun way which makes me wanna get up and shake some moves. Someone else sees the boobs and thinks that’s what we are interested in too…. big facepalm… We know nothing Dogmas!
So this is a perfectly normal design for an average game, right ?
I don’t want to sound too feminist (or macho BTW), but yeah, more than the silly dance, the female characters’ design jumps out at me.

He is definitely more OP. He falls from the sky and doesn’t die whereas Witcher 3 Geralt dies for simply stumbling.
They really nerfed Geralt :(
Even Velerad (the best Witcher character) prefers this Geralt
