Quick Review of January
Hey everyone! I hope everyone is alright :) I had a pretty good month in the end even though I had some exams. First of, I managed to finish Styx while I think it's a really good stealth game, half of the game is doing the same map AGAIN but in the other way.. That's just lazy from the dev, half of the game would have been enough. Still a good game if you like stealth. I also played Hearts of Iron IV and I really loved it ! It is way easier to pick up than the other Paradox Interactive games and It's really fun to change the course of history. As I said there is not enough depth (I expected more from Paradox) so there is not the same replayability. Still a really cool WW2 strategic game! An other game worth mentioning is Abzu while it's really short (+/- 3hrs) It was really relaxing and pretty fun to swin around all those fauna and flora! It's a bit expensive for the gametime but if the price goes down be sure to buy it.
Concerning my backlog, I was pretty happy with the Humble Monthly and I look forward to play Project Cars, Neon Chrome and XCOM2. While I also won Shadowrun Hong Kong on Steamgifts, pretty happy about it :D I also received Shantea and the Pirate's Curse from SevenDeck (<3)
Not real plan on what to play this month but I'm trying to play more steamgifts games and since I won some really nice one it won't be a problem! Starting with Call of Duty;Ghosts and then we will see :)
Thanks a lot for reading! Have a good gaming month :) I'll see you around!</div> </div>

Second November Update
Hello everyone :) I hope you had a good month of gaming!
Games I played this month :
I’ve been pretty busy with two big games ; Planet Coaster and Dragon’s Dogma. Planet coaster is an awesome coaster builder with gorgeous graphics. The only downside is the managing part of the game. It’s really easy to win money, there is not a lot to control financial wise. Other than that if you love building parcs or coaster, if you love spending time building scenary, it’s the perfect game for you. The possibility are endless. And if you’re too lazy (like me, most of the time) to build your own thing, the workshop contains lots of brilliant building! So, if like me, you like the RollerCoaster Tycoon serie, don’t hesitate to get this one !
The only reason to play My Name Is Mayo is to get an eazy 100% game :D Reigns is a nice little game about choices. It’s really fun the first few hours but it get really repetitive soon. At first, you pay attention to choice but when you understand that the morality of the choices doesn’t matters, you only pay attention to the consequences of the choices on your 4 stats. Worth a try i guess :) I’ll talk about Dragon’s Dogma when i finish it :D
Added to my Backlog this month :
Baldur's Gate II: Enhanced Edition
Odallus: The Dark Call
I’ve been lucky this month ! Winning 14 games from steamgifts and buying 6 others! (my backlog is not getting any smaller…) Anyway I think I won the BEST GAME IN THE WORLD : Bad Rats :D I wanted it so bad since everyone on steamgifts is talking about it. Other than that, some pretty nice game with Baldur’s Gate II : Enhanced Edition, Volume and Odallus : The Dark Call
My Stats are not really great this month as I’ve added 20 games to my backlog but finishing only 9 :( BUT I’ve reached the cap of 5,000 achievements :D Pretty happy for that :)
Thanks again to Nelly for this month’s theme and everyone on Backlog Assasins Extraordinaire :) See you soon!

Progress Report #13
Hello everyone ! How is it going?
Games I played this month :
The Forest of Doom
The 39 Steps
Dr. Langeskov, The Tiger, and The Terribly Cursed Emerald: A Whirlwind Heist
The Witcher: Enhanced Edition
I’ve played some really cool games so far this month. The 39 Steps has a really nice story and I love the Scottish accent :D Too bad the Developer team didn’t have success cause It’s really great! The only negative was the rotating of the mouse to advance the dialogue. But I found out that you can just click to advance too.. You should play it for this month’s theme :) It’s great, short and you’ll get 100% of achievements :D
The Forest of Doom was good but not really more. The story is not really interesting (maybe that’s just me). The Novelist, on the other end, had a great story about the struggle between love, work, family. It’s really nice although the choices are a bit simplistic. The Stealth element is not really necessary (thats why i played without it ^^). But well another cool game for this month !
The last game I played for this month’s theme is The Witcher the first one! Overall, the story is great but the gameplay is not. The combat system is really bad (I guess it’s old) you just have to click at the right time.. Most of the quest are really tedious, you have to walk a lot.. But the story is great, maybe not as much as Witcher 3, but really cool and the ending is just MIND-BLOWING. I played in easy to make it more enjoyable :)
In other news, if you want to play a great, free game similar to The Stanley Parable, you should try Dr. Langeskov, The Tiger and the Terribly Cursed Emerald. It’s short and fun ! It has the same graphics as Stanley Parable :)
Added to Backlog this month :
Day of the Tentacle Remastered
Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen
DiRT 3 Complete Edition
Call of Duty: Ghosts
Heavy Metal Machines
The Cat Lady
99 Levels To Hell
I’m not winning the fight against my Backlog so far :/ But I added some great games that I looked forward to play ! I won Call of Duty : Ghosts on steamgift ! Possibly the biggest game I won so far :D I’m pretty happy about it. I also bought the Humble Bundle Monthly because I really wanted Dragon’s Dogma ! And I traded my extra copy of Don’t Starve Together to get Satellite Reign! I’m pretty happy overall :) Alright guys ! See you next time :) I’m looking forward to reading your progress!

Progress Report #12
Hello everyone :) How is it going ?
I’ve been pretty busy with this month’s theme :) It’s a very good chance from the other themes, and it was really fun to chase some pictures! :) Plus, we could pick the games we wanted to play for once :D
|Tier 1||A bloody weapon - Shadow Warrior||A torch - Epistory - Typing Chronicles||A body (in an awkward position) - Shadow Warrior||The writing on the wall - The Old City : Leviathan|
|Tier 2||Twilight sky - The Witcher 3 : Wild Hunt||Stars - The Witcher 3 : Wild Hunt||A pretty flower - The Old City : Leviathan||Garden equipment - Valiant Hearts|
|Tier 3||A terminal - Dex||Lasers - Dex||My pimped out ride - Shadow Warrior||A message in neon - Dex|
|Tier 4||It has more than two eyes - Serious Sam 3||A mythical beast - The Old City : Leviathan||A spider - Epistory - Typing Chronicles||Man’s best friend - Valiant Hearts|
|Tier 5||The massacre - The Witcher 3 : Wild Hunt||Death by fire - The Witcher 3 : Wild Hunt||Up close and personal - Shadow Warrior||Got you in my sights - Valiant Hearts|
I have collected every pictures! :D
I just need to finish Serious Sam 3 … Oh man, I hate this game. I really loved the first Serious Sam, played them when I was younger. They were so much fun, from the gameplay to the voice acting and all. Maybe I was too much nostalgic but Serious Sam 3 is so baaaad. The reloading of the guns make it so slow, the graphic are awfull, the story is dull, the jokes are horrible, … All in all I really hate this game :D I don’t know how I will finish it before the end of the month (honestly I think I won’t). Anyway, maybe it is just me :P Anyone played it and think otherwise ?
Next up The Old City : Leviathan
It’s a really nice walking simulator! Really beautifull and a really nice philosophical story behind it. I didn’t find every bit of information because I always found the end of the level too fast :P It provided me with three nice pictures for this month, sooo It was worth it :D Well, if you like walking simulator and narrative game, like I do, consider playing this game :)
I played another nice game Dex. It reminded me of a book by William Gibson ; Neuromancer. It also talks about a near futur with enhance human being with a story revolving around AI and hacking. The game is really cool but to really enjoy it you should not only play the main mission but also the secondary missions (there is a lot of them). If you are an achievements hunter like me, you will have to do them anyway ^^ It took my ~7h to complete it so it’s not too long and it’s pretty good :) Don’t hesitate !
I also played Shadow Warrior for this month’s theme. It’s kind of the same game as Serious Sam 3, only it is good :D The sword fighting is really fun, plus it remain a good option to kill monsters even at the end! The characters are really fun too just be carefull of the rabbits ;)
I played a lot of other games but i won’t bored you by talking about them :D Some may be worth mentionning like Epistory - Typing Chronicles and The Moon Sliver :)
Annnnd finally, I bought Battlefield 1
It’s been a while since I played some competitive shooters but I really like WW1 and WW2 games :D Already played a bit today and it’s really great so far! Oh if anyone is looking for someone to play, I’ll glad to ! My mates are on Xbox 1 so .. :’( Let me know!
I’ll leave it there! Special thanks to SevenDeck for this month’s theme :) Goodbye everyone :)
Progress Report #11
Hello everyone! :D The BLAEO grow each day passing! It’s good to see more people joining us :D
Sooo the past couple of weeks I mainly played The Witcher 3. I’ve already beaten it a long while ago but I haven’t play the second DLC Blood and Wine yet. But I launched myself a bet that i would beat the game in the hardest difficulty : Death March. And I diiiid it ! It was tought but worth it :D
It was hard yeah, you have too dodge a lot yeah, you can only get hit 3-4 time before you die yeah. And I managed to get some missing achievements along the way like Full Crew, Card Collector and Assassin of Kings.
Btw how cool is the Gwent game ? ;D
I recommend using the poison blade build as it was really usefull for me (you can find it in The Ultimate Death March Build/GUide in the Guides section).
With that finished I was finally able to begin the Blood and Wine DLC (I lowered the difficulty tho, i wanted to “chill” a bit haha). First think I notice is how beautifull Toussaint is ! It is way more green and flowery(?). It reminded me a bit a France (I’m half french) plus the wine is really present in the story and the way they talked is so french. Maybe a bit of Italy too :)
Well I loved the new region from the start! All in all I really like the story, especially the Queen was awesome :) And Regis too ! Well, I really like this DLC and It got a really nice duration. So if you haven’t play it yet, go for it !! :D You won’t regret it !
Ps ; Isn’t Witcher 3 the best game ever made ? The most accomplished at least ? It depends on the person i guess
The only other game I played is Planet Coaster. If you don’t know about it, it is a roller coaster game still in alpha but you could played it just this weekend. And oh man it is awesome ! I can wait to play in Novembre :D I’ll post some links of the “best” youtubers playing this game so you can see its potential :)
Well thanks for reading me ! Good luck on your backlog assasination :) See ya soon!
Progress Report #10
Hello everyone! :) How is it going ? Lots of people on the site, it’s cool :D
I haven’t been playing any of my monthly theme game but I’ve play lots of other game! :) Maybe I’ll participate next month.
First off, I played The Big Butcher. I’ve beaten the campaign and played a bit of the survival mode. It’s a fun little game but it gets boring quite fast for me at least :) At the same, I’ve completed 12 Labours of Hercules (like many of you :p) mainly to get the achievements. Yes, I am an achievement hunter :D
I recently won Town of Salem on steamgift :D Soo I’ve been playing a lot of it ! It’s quite hard at first but once you know every role It gets really interesting. Wasn’t there talk about a tournament of this game ? Or did I miss it ? D: Maybe this time my pc won’t broke down like it did with the Rocket League tournament :P (Will there be another Rocket League one ? :D)
Well there is still two downside to this game. One : the community. You can find a great groupe of player and have a really fun time but most of the time you get yourself with trolls, spammers, absent player, game-thrower, and all sort ruining your game :/ So it really depends on the player you are with. And Second : the number of achievements… It will take aaaaaaage to get it all! :(
I’ve alose been playing a lot of Compagny of Heroes 2. I’ve done the campaign in the captain difficulty and some of the Operation Barbarossa mission. I’m not too much into multiplayer games tho. But there is a lot of DLC’s going on and that keep me from playing the other campaign and the other missions. :( I hate DLC’s, they’re really expensive too … But well the game is fun, some mission are really challenging too. So I had fun but I think I’ll stop playing it. Plus the achievements are exaggerated (452 in total …) and you have to buy all the DLC too ><
In other news, I’ve started Valient Hears, Age of Mythologie and Rollercoaster Tycoon 2 in recent weeks. I’ll try to finish them :) Just in time for the new Monthly Theme ! :D
Alright that’s it for me :) Have a good time playing games (and other activities)
Bye guys !
Progress Report #9
I know it’s been a while but I had some exams plus I had a migraine so the doc told me to stay away from screens (every gamers nightmare..). I’m all better now :D
Consequently, I didn’t play a lot of the monthly theme :( I did manage to play a bit at the beginning of the month! So I managed to finish Life is Strange. I have to say that It was really great, I really liked the character Max :) I can talk much about it without spoiling you the game but you should definitely play it ! :)
And i can’t stop listenning to that soundtrack ! :o
I also completed some short game for the monthly theme, TimeFrame and The Silent Age. Not so much to talk about, nothing spectacular ^^ But really short and easy to get all the achievement :D
I did beat some other games at the end of last month and this week. I saw lot of people playing Spec Ops so I tried it for myself. It was a nice approch to the war game style, while the shooter part was not that great, the story was really good! And it’s quite short so try it :D
Otherwise, I also beat Doom and well It was a great no-nonsense shooter! The story was pretty to get the biggest gun and kill demons. So it was awesome :)
Alright guys, thanks for reading! Have a good day :)
And thanks again to the Backlog team for this awesome website and all the work you do for the monthly theme! :D
Progress Report #8
Hello everyone! How are your holiday going ? :)
I was a bit sceptic about the monthly theme as it had a low number of games but in the end it allow me to discover some really nice and short games!
Games like Refunkt, Hook and Thomas was Alone! Really like that last one, you should play it if it’s in your backlog :) Easy 100% for those games too ;)
I did play Gone Home too but it was kind of disappointing. The ambience was really good but I was really let down but the story in the end! It could have been so much better!
Well after those short game, i started … Stardew Valley ! I cannot stop playing.. I don’t really know why but I find it relaxing and just easy to play :) I’ll probably play a lot more of that game before the end of the month :) (The achievement take a long time to get!)
Ohhh and last thing! Does anyone play Pokemon Go ? :D
Progress Report #7
Hello everyone! How are you doing ? :)
Finally the Steam Sale are there! :D What are you getting ? Lots of games to add to your backlog? :P That’s what I’m doing … I did get some good game like Stellaris and lots of co-op games to play with my girlfriend :P I might buy Stardew Valley to see where the hype come from and the last Witcher 3 DLC :D
Otherwise, I’ve been busy with this month theme! I’ve beaten Metro 2033 with the good ending (I did look the moral point on a guide ^^). I enjoyed playing it and I’ll maybe get the Redux version :) A Story about my Uncle was also a great game, a bit short but I really liked the game mechanism! Really good but the achievements are waaaay too hard so I gave up on those… Finally I’ve beaten Batman: Arkham Asylum and It was … awesome !! It’s way better than Batman: Arkham City that i played on my Playstation! Loved it!
Alright, I don’t think that I’ll have time to beat another game for the monthly theme so I’ll be busy with Stellaris :D And thanks again to the BLAEO for organising this awesome website and this monthly theme! :)
See you guys !
