Report #130: Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon® Wildlands

Started with friends, finished alone

I got this game shortly after release through Steamgifts. I was very happy to win this, especially because friends were talking about it. They bought themselfs copies and we began to play this in coop. But after several missions they got bored and wanted to play other stuff. But I got stuck with the game. I wasn't bored at all.

With a map big enough to get easily lost. I think it has a size of 15x15km. There is enough to do. A lot of missions that are similar, but always different ;) What I mean is, there are a defined set of mission types. Like "Extract XY", "Kill XY", "Tail XY". But there are always different scenarios happening. Like getting out with a helicopter, or by boat. Doing it stealthy or rambo-style.

The only thing I didn't like was the last mission. You have to play it like rambo. But I have played 90% of the game stealthy. Why keep developer doing this bullshit. Always ruining the gameplay for stealth enthusiasts ;)

Man. This is a game I was quite enjoying, but got sidetracked and never made it back to it. I think I will have to get back into it once I finalize my move. I had defeated three of the region bosses IIRC (the crazy torturer couple, the rich kid, and one other).

I took down all the Buchons first, then killed all the Underbosses and then the Head of XXX and finally El Sueno. I think it took me about 40 hours to kill all the Buchons and another 5 hours to kill all the other bosses.

Interesting. I think I stopped around hour 15-20, so I still have a ways to go.

I guess I was idling about 10-15 hours in the menu ;)
